Yes he certainly is and has no problem proving it. What's more hilarious though, is when (delusional) trump supporters get angry and blame anti-trumpers, for exposing all the negative truths about trump, which trump has already exposed about himself. Lol.

Cenk had some good descriptions for trump. Trump pretty much does act like a 'simpleton, ignoramous and a buffoon.'

You don't know who's more ignorant : Trump, or the imbeciles who voted for him and REALLY thought he cared about them

Well when you got access to someone like Melania 24/7, the need isn't as great.

In his Face the Nation clip on North Korea he enunciated CHI-NA in the most exaggerated way. It's like all he did this week was watch Alex Baldwin playing him on SNL and learn how not to say GI-NA. "Sad".

Why do you think he keeps flying back to West Palm? lol

She'll be living with him in June though.

Because he's a lazy bum who's in way over his head. It's the same reason why he's playing golf all the time (way more than Obama did).

He can't handle the job. As the quotes from that interview showed, he's mentally incompetent.

Oh I got the humor, but this thread is about Trump's stupidity so I thought I'd steer it back there. As a Trump supporter I understand you're not comfortable with that.

Obama was president for eight years.

Trump has been president for 100 days

How can you think that this is a legitimate comparison?

Defending him when appropriate does not make me a supporter of his, please do not make such blatantly false assumptions.

I want you guys and girls to WAKE UP. Do you think President Trump is stupid?

YOU are stupid.

All the time you're wasting posting that "Trump is stupid. Lol" is time President Trump is using to do stuff you aren't paying attention to, or don't have the balls to oppose.

I hope hope hope hope HOPE that P&R is merely where you go to vent occassionaly, and that you are actually working on getting people to vote out the GOP in 2018. But if you're using the same tactics in the real world that you use here, you will be crushed in defeat - again.

If you tell people who voted for President Trump that he is stupid, you are telling them that THEY are stupid. How many people have you ever met in your life who have admitted they're stupid, and that YOU have all the answers they need?

I thought so.

These are the same concerns I had about the marches in January. Good intentions, but little follow-through. And the same people who castigated me for that view back then are the same people whose main argument today seems to be "Trump is stupid. Lol".

If that's your best argument, then we are in trouble. Lol indeed.

Now, I won't sit here and yell at you without telling you what I am doing.

I've gotten involved with a group down here that is putting forth a candidate to oppose our Congressman, a Tea Party Republican named Brian Babin. Our candidate (who cannot announce for a couple more weeks, so I cannot divulge the name) is local, with incredible roots and excellent name recognition, and has a very good shot at turning a red seat blue. We are EXTREMELY excited!

I'm pretty sure my son will be working on this campaign. Whether or not he gets paid, we'll see. But we are surely putting our money where our mouth is.

Defeating a sitting Congressman is very hard. But I've been on both sides of that. I've had a friend who was an incumbent get upset by a (then) no-name politician; and I've had a friend upset a 10-term sitting Congressman. So I know it can be done.

We will not defeat Congressman Babin by telling all his friends how stupid he is, and how stupid the President that he supports is. We will only defeat him by showing a better way for the citizens in our district. OPTIMISM always defeats PESSIMISM.

Good luck to you in whatever you are doing.

I believe we can multi task. We can call this pig "stupid" AND pay attention to all the damage his dangerous administration is doing to America and do something about it. I think we should never let up on this monster and need to shout from the mountaintop just what a deplorable asshole he is.

Hear, hear ! I don't think we can reach most Trump supporters- they proved that they are beyond rationality, and are strictly guided by emotion- in many cases hatred . And RS is right, in that they will never admit they were stupid , and will dig in their support of trump even deeper because of that . The goal is to mobilize the majority that are against him. Many of those Trump supporters are like the people who become zombies in "The Walking Dead"- they're lost to us, and we just have to work around them ...

What we need are two things:

(1) We need to get turn out. No vote can be taken for granted. Every single vote is of the utmost importance. Specifically, we need to get those cheese-eating lardasses who couldn't be bothered to vote in 2016 to get off their hemmoroid-laden butts and pull the voting lever. We also need to get the millenials to understand that 2018 is basically their entire future. If they vote for another Bernie Sanders instead of a Democrat, that splits the vote and will almost certainly elect a Republican. If the GOP retains control of the House and the Senate, their lives are screwed for the next 20 - 40 years because of the Supreme Court appointments that will take place.

(2) We need to appeal to the moderates in the GOP. There are no doubt millions of people that voted for Trump solely because they didn't like Hillary Clinton. Do not think for a second that they are not gettable voters for the Democrats. But telling them they are stupid won't do the trick. Like the millenials above, they need to be shown how voting for the GOP is voting against their own interests and is bad for the country.

Think about this: If I had voted for Trump, how would you approach me to convince me that I should vote Democratic in 2018?

Point out that he's done NOTHING for you unless you were among the super-rich. Explain that almost EVERYTHING he told you was a LIE , that he'll change positions like the Kama Sutra to suit Himself, and whatever makes him feel good. However, if you STILL like him because you believe he's "tough" and "competent" (despite all the actual evidence to the contrary) than that voter is a lost cause, and more effort should be put into getting out the Democratic base that sees how bad he really is and opposes his policies , and would be hurt by him.

I've come to the conclusion that the biggest divide in America is between those who are rational, and those who are irrational. It is not so much right and left, but between those who are guided by logic and fact, and those who are strictly guided by emotion and their "gut"... It is simply two different ways of looking at, and experiencing the world, and it's hard, if not impossible, to bridge that gap.
