Maine question one

Gay marriage in Maine goes to vote tuesday. I don't have much hope for it. Polls show it slightly ahead, but the area I live in is so redneck, I mean right wing I had people coming to my door trying to get me to sign petitions to put it on the ballot.

I hope the Northeast continues to have common sense and American Ideals

The trend shift of conservatives is to accept it. They kind of have to as they say they are for liberties, rights, and freedoms. So how can they oppose a freedom just because they would not want to exercise that specific liberty?

As for the slippery slopers...I do not care who a person wants to get married to.

It has been tough to deal with here. Mid coast Maine has a strong liberal movement, but is populated with a lot of blue collar rednecks. Months of criticism, and people stopping us at supermarkets to sign petitions

Voted No on 1 today.....find out tomorrow
