Brother of Afghan Leader Is Said to Be on C.I.A. Payroll

An article in today’s New York Times exposes that the brother of Afghan President Hamid Karzai, a suspected kingpin of the country’s booming opium trade, has been on the CIA payroll for the past eight years. Too bad the article fails to address the fact that one of the reasons behind the 2001 invasion (and also the reason we are still there)is the agenda to reinstate the Golden Crescent opium drug trade.
