Conspiracy Theories

Conspiracy Theories: Do you give them much credibility? Do you believe in them? Like, for example, the 911 and JFK conspiracy theories.

With the history of the U.S.A, it's somewhat hard to believe, and yet not hard to believe at all.

I just gave those two as examples.

What do you think?

According to the Bush-Cheney administration, the 9/11 attacks resulted from a conspiracy between Osama bin Laden and various members of al-Qaeda, including the 19 men accused of hijacking the airliners. This official account is, therefore, a conspiracy theory Accordingly, insofar as you accept this official account, you are a 9/11 conspiracy theorist.

The same kind of people that killed JFK are the same kind of people that killed Malcolm X & Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

With that said, most "conspiracy theories" are actually conspiracy facts! So don't been so naive like Sean Hannity & Elisabeth Hasselback and think that some people within the USA government are the good guys when they're not.

Tupac "Makaveli" Shakur (RIP 1971-1996) & Michael Jackson (RIP 1958-2009)

2 men that had their lives taken away the moment they were speaking out AND rebelling against the dark side of the music industry once too often.

I really don't know what to think. Most of the more prevalent conspiracy theories out there just smack of nutbaggery, but then, I do believe we're not being given the full picture by those in control.

If you use simple logic, 99.9% of these theories can be debunked.
Many people do not have the mental capacity to rid themselves of the their deep conceded need to belief and rather embrace a farfetched, difficult and mysterious theory than plain reality. The thruth does not hold enough magic for some people.

It is this need that is the basis of religion, belief in gosts, belief in ufo's, belief in conspiracies.

I believe Lee Harvey Oswald shot and killed JFK. I believe that a plane struck the Pentagon on 9/11. And I believe that planes crashed into and caused the collapse of the World Trade Center. I believe there have been many conspiracies throughout human history, but that most atrocities are performed right before our very eyes, with nothing to obscure them.

Regardless of what you want to think of anyone who articulates any particular viewpoint, the evidence for 9-11 being an inside job are overwhelming.

It's clear to me, through reviewing the evidence, that 9-11 was a conspiracy to create an event that would grease the skids for a profitable, oil-securing war. I don't rejoice in this conclusion to say the least. I think it's extremely horrible. It's a theory, but so is gravity -- i.e. "conspiracy theory" doesn't mean "false." If you think the facts of 9-11-01 can be blamed on those the Bush administration and the mainstream/corporate media point the blame (which, as I've pointed out above, is also a conspiracy theory) to then I'd very much like to hear your argument. "99.9" would suggest little or no effort on your part. Thanks! smile

Regarding the World Trade Center towers which collapsed on 9-11-01: WTC 1, 2 and 7 which was NOT hit by a plane --

How did a local and asymmetrical collapse propagate across a robust and cross-braced structural core to become a total, symmetrical, and essentially free-fall speed collapse?

How did the concrete floors get completely pulverized 1000 feet in the air?

How did we get molten iron in the debris pile when jet fuel does not burn hot enough to melt steel?

These are acts, and acts are planned by minds. It's in the minds behind those acts that the most interesting and sometimes insidious things take place.

There are many valid answers on these questions easily found on the internet.
Google debunking 9/11 and you'll find plenty of anwers. Better than I can ever describe.

Just this:

How did an elaborate scheme, that needs the movement of hunderds of tons of material, knowledge of highly trained and specialized personal and above all participation of a great number of people unnoticed? Think of the logistical nightmare the 'planners' of this scheme were facing. All done in secret, secret meetings, secret place to store material, secret traffic of information?

No witnesses at all? No one with remorse?
Not a word. Nor by the family of these "participants".

nd what about motivation? There are far easier, less difficult plans to lure a country into war.

That particular theory was debunked some time ago. Its not a debate.

Lots of foolish people. I love the ones that think the moon landings were a hoax. If I had millions of dollars, I would make a reality show with conspiracy theorists and actually take them around to investigate all the conspiracies (locations, witnesses, etc) and "experts" they quote or refer to.

I would also make portions of the reality show a study of the conspiracy fans themselves: their behavior and background.

I would love making this show! cool

It would serve as a great enlightenment as to philosophical beliefs of reality, and the effects of media on logic and beliefs and motivation.

Perhaps you didn't notice, but amount of airplanes hitting buildings isn't that high either.

My uncle is an engineer and he has read some of these exotic 9/11 theories and is always puzzled why theories written by non-engineers, read by non-engineers are actually believed over studies by actual engineers.

The basis of accusations on government involvement are not only small, they are non existent when you'd look for actual valid evidence. Anything brought up has been scientifically been explained or disproven.

Another question. Why would anyone, after already having collapsed the twin towers, (with two airplanes full of muslims extremists and inocent people as alibi) go on and collapse more building? Whould it add to the the enormity of the devastation? To the unbelief? To the support for a war and certain government policies? No ofcourse not? It is already "big".

Why add something that is not needed? Why add something that is overkill and is prone to investigation? Why such a scheme and make such a deliberate mistake in giving away "evidence"? Why not a few airplanes more?

Not logical at all. But hey, who needs logic anyway?

Ask questions? Ask the right ones? Ask about the motivations (and mental health) of those that produced these conspiracy theories? You'll find people who know that this shit sells (and they are selling bigtime) and you'll find those who do not trust the shape of their own shadow.

Curious. How does a fallen building make steel turn 2 dust? Why was the material from those building flown out of the US immediatedly after they were cleared? Why were the 100 plus report from professional firefighter reports of multiple explosions ignored? How did the US identify the so called 19 hijackers? .....weren't they all killed in the planes?

I'm amazed at the amount of people that can look at those buildings collapsing in a matter of seconds and who see anything but a controlled demolition. No resistance, nothing but free fall...and people ignore their eyes and common sense and choose to believe what one of the most corrupt governments in the history of the united states tells them. And building 7 wasn't even hit by a plane and it fell in the exact same manner. The fuel in those planes was not even hot enought to melt steel. It wasn't that hot at all by the time that the buildings fell 'cause I remeber seeing people walking around inside one of the holes waving white shirts. But somehow, the heat could case the bottom of the buildings to collapse too? confuse If just the top part toppled over, I would half-way believe the shit. But how in the hell did the entire buildings fall in a matter of seconds?
