BO Tanking: President's Approval Index at -8

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 30% of the nation's voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-eight percent (38%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of –8. The President’s Approval Index rating has fallen six points since release of a disappointing jobs report last week (see trends).
Thirty-nine percent (39%) now give the President good or excellent marks for handling the economy while 43% say he is doing a poor job. Those are by far his lowest ratings yet on the economy.

LMFAO! I guess that you would think more highly of Obama if he STAYED with Reverend Wright.

Which means that you are a fan of Reverend Wright.

Obama approval ratings down
Thursday, 9 July 2009 17:04

US President Barack Obama has seen his approval ratings tumble in a new poll.

The poll, published today by news channel CNN, put President Obama's overall job approval rating at 61%, down from 76% in February.

More than one third of respondents (37%) said they disapprove of how the new US leader is doing his job.

70% said Mr Obama is 'a strong and decisive leader,' down from 80% in February, while just 53% said he has a 'clear plan for solving the nation's problems,' down from 64%.

Obama will be a one-term president if he stays with these big-government spending programs. The American people don't want that. His health care plan sounds like a disaster in the making. Democrats never learn. disbelief

I'm not surprised, but it is unfortunate....

There was so much wrong with the nation when Obama took office, I don't think any person could have possibly stood a chance of turning things around in the first 6 months. I think you'd have to be exceptional to turn things around in 4 years...

It was kind of inevitable that any president that took office would have been able to meet the demands of Americans at this time, but I always hoped I would be proven wrong...

With that said, he still has 3 and a half years to go to do his job and we should ALL cross our fingers that his plans work.

I still maintain that no president or presidential candidate would have done any better than Barack Obama has to date, which is not an assault against anyone, just a realization of how much the cards were stacked against whoever won.

From what I’ve seen, the only one not liking a "public option" health care plan are the health insurance companies that are scared to lose any of their revenue and the republicans they have bought.

I don’t understand how republicans can get their constituents to tow a line that solely benefits their special interests; and by special interests I don’t mean their constituents.
I think the republicans are genius in that respect, having a constituent that are so easily suckered by simpleton phrases like “family values“ and at the same time fighting measures that would allow a large part of their red state families proper affordable health care.

It goes to show you that people on the fence are bandwagon folks. When everything is good, "See I told y'all he could get it done." When things are rough; "I knew it. He could not get it done."

6 months...compared to 8 years...go figure.

People on the fence are sometimes just those who aren't excited about either candidate, but vote for the one they like just a little bit more.

Did anybody think he was going to get in there and perform miracles? It's just not gonna turn around over night. I hope he gets it turned around quickly, not because I've turned Democrat, but for the sake of this country and I need to get called back to my job! innocent

It's not surprising. The guy talked so much shit during his campaign, he was bound to come clean, at least to some degree. So sad how people just bowed down to this guy and accepted him as their savior.

Yeah, I voted for BO, but I'm realizing what I had forgotten under eight years of Bush...neither party in the end truly speaks to me.

Are you happy. Have you finally proven your point? Obama, in your estimation, will become the absolute ruin of the country, and you were right. George Bush and Cronies had it right all along, satisfied now? hammer
