That's funny. lol

The black community by in large are not asking for things pertaining specifically to blacks. They're asking for enforcement of policies that benefits everyone.

And here's my predictions:

1) Iraq : He's fucked. Lose/lose situation. Bush has so easily destroyed any prospects for a clean victory there, that the next President is going to take the grenade for that one.

2) Environment: Easy to turn back clear skies if he choses. Clear Skies is a crime.

3) Age of Increased Regulation: This would have taken place wether McCain or Obama is in place. They're just going to happen

4) Health Care: We should be seeing something. I'm about 85% confident on that one lol

5) Gay Rights: Same old / Same old

6) Supreme Court: Obama will either maintain the current slightly conservative court balance, or swing it ever so slightly to the left---it won't swing far left.

7) The economy: Anything is better than what Bush was doing.

8) Stem Cell Research: FINALLY, we can become a leader in it now.

Every four year there is always the "change" propaganda.

And Every four years nothing actually changes.

Tomorrow will be the same as today.

yeah, how in the world is he gonna handle huge shit like iran, israel, russia, afganistan etc etc.

what experience has he got? as a senator he wasnt very active and suddenly he becomes president.

is he gonna say to iran "hey guys what dont we just get a..." "hey, peace!" "make love not war..." "hey alqaeda, lets be friends". he says hes gonna "talk" to people like castro, chavez etc etc people that dont respect human rights. u think theyr gonna change because he talks to them? its bad killing but the police needs to shoot the criminals instead of talking to them.

yeah and aids was created by white people to kill black people....

and im robin hood and im gonna take cash from the rich and give it to the poor...

its sounds great, really...me first on taking some cash. but i rather listen to bono from U2 making a speech like gandhi. lets dream. this is politics!

hello, reality!!

and btw his suits look really bad. im sure he will improve in that sense.

anyways, congrats and wish obama the best look.

Seeing that he's made no specific promises to the black community how do you figure they will be the most short changed?
Because they believed in him enough to vote for him?
He not the magic ingredient to cure all the ills of this country.
He is a man.

Can he deliver?
Is he now held to a higher standard than other politicians?
The economy and circumstance probably won't allow him to keep every pledge and promise but let's see what he actually does.

So when he runs for re-election are you still going to questioning whether he has the required experience?
What experience would you have preferred and who has it? (Don't say McCain, please)
He'll be a great President and he doesn't need your approval to be that great President. He doesn't need my approval either but he did get what he needed from me which is money and my vote.

Good post, Imago. I especially like the opening line about the black community. We aint never asked for anything except a fair opportunity.

well he promised change from everything bush has failed, that means he owe the world something. i dont think that brother has got an inkling as to what the problem with america /the world is.there are bad guys out there that are enemies of america, how is he gonna deal with them {cos not by being mr nice guy}. as for the black community they are voting obama for emotional reasons and nothing more. to them obama is a realisation of the martin luther king dream!

I am sure Obama can deilver. I think he will have great people by him to make good decsions. Bush lacked that. Their are many reason why black people are voting for Obama. You can not say black people are only voting for "emotional reasons".I am black and I did not vote for Obama for that reason.
There is a ton of crap that needs to be clean up in this goverement because of Bush. It is not going to be easy to solve no matter who wins but I am sure Obama Can solve the issues because he will be able to analysis the issues and not just act without thinking.
