McCain has said he's going to bring up Ayers. Obama is going to slice him up like a turkey on Thanksgiving over it. It will go something like this:

"You know, Americans are facing incredible challenges right now. And my opponent wants to focus on innuendo and other low-road strategies to scare you. What you SHOULD be scared of is that in times as grave as these, John McCain has lost his focus on you because of his fear of the future. It's as if my friend John would rather create fear and doubt instead of solutions and hope. My fellow Americans, John McCain's strategy isn't change - it's the same failed strategy that we've suffered under for the last eight years."

But that will be NOTHING compared to what David Letterman is going to do to McCain tomorrow night. Letterman ain't running for office, and he's going to rip McCain a new one over the lies about Ayers, etc.

John McCain's campaign will be officially DOA by Thursday, October 16th, at about 11:59 PM EDT.

Let's get ready to rumble!!!!

Obama is going to finish McCain off tonight. Heck, McCain was finished when he picked Palin to be his V.P. lol

As for the Ayers thing. McCain can try to use the Ayers-Obama connection, but the thing is...there is no connection. Heck, Ayers even received a freaking Citizen of the Year award from the city in 1997!! And you know that Obama is going to be prepared. So if McCain were to bring up Ayers, Obama can counter by calling out Palin's connection to The Alaska Independence Party. A group that even called Iran in 1993, seeking help on how to over throw our government. WT???? And Obama is the terrorist?

I can't wait!! I hope Obama talks about the issues and then throws mud right back at McCain.

When McCain has his back against the wall like this he shines like a glorious avenger.

This is his milieu, this is just the way he likes it (as he has been saying repeatedly).

McCain's will no doubt be one of the greatest political performances in all of American history! He will raise the tenor of the debate! Revive the flagging enthusiasm of his increasingly disenchanted base! He will woo back such heretofore staunch toadies as Christophers Buckley and Hitchens, who will write panegyrics about McCain's performance, elevating themselves into a new stratosphere of intellectual elites. All of which, in addition to McCain's own shining presence will keep the straighttalk express running right through the next 100 years!

It will be glorious!

Liberals dare not gaze directly at the screen tonight for far of having your eyes burned with the clear light of truth and statesmanship!

Look on his works tonight ye mighty and despair!

What do you think Jellybean? I think Obama will TKO McCain in the first round (first 15 minutes..that is... lol ). Or he may drag it to a tease to finish McCain off in the last 15 minutes and McCain will not look Obama in the eyes...hmm, and storm off the stage like a child whose mother says "No you can't have any candy right now!" and look at Cindy, and storm off the stage while Cindy is trying to run behind him to catch up.

I really doubt that McCain will bring up Ayers, It does him more harm to bring that into the light, than just to let it stay in the underbelly.

They make the pizza and then you cook it! LOL lol

We get the Herb Chicken Mediterranean D-lite! We might get another one this time though. Or we might get a 1/2 and 1/2! We normally get a thin crust (the d-lite) but I want a regular crust tonight! LOL

He has to bring it up. His supporters have been begging him to.
Obama challenged him to . . .

If he doesn't, he has no balls and it's all over.

He can talk tough on Iran but won't challenge Obama to his face? He's said he'll bring it up.

Seeing that Ayers hasn't had any effect the past year, I don't know what McCain is going to say tonight. Everyone knows McCain is going to call Ayers a terrorist, since pumping fear is a political strategy for the Republican Party.
Not believing in our great country but simply being scared of the world we live in.
Once he says terrorist he will try to associate Obama with the fear people feel.
But seeing as Obama chose to go to Harvard and then become a community organizer, he passed up numerous chances to be a terrorist, so it doesn't really work.

Meanwhile, civic knowledge is enhanced by discussing public affairs, taking part in civic activities and reading about current events and history, the group said.

We are on a diet! confused lol So we always get thin crust.. then healthy kind of pizza or try..

But tonight I really want to have a real pizza! You know.. non healthy pizza even though I love our usual choice. Is just that the crust is very thin like crackers. I do not want stuffed crust, but I think I want regular crust.

I am so excited about the debate! lol I heard McCain is going on attack mode! Is going to be like a tennis match or boxing in a way!

I hope Obama is ready. He just needs to keep his cool and let McCain explode.

well, we don't have any new unemployment numbers since the last debate, that i know of. retail sales are down, and a bad holiday shopping season ahead. there's plenty of bad economic news out there - the Dow is more shorthand than anything.

OOPS! OBAMA'S SPIN SPILLED
http://firstread.msnbc.ms...47859.aspx
From NBC's Carrie Dann and Domenico Montanaro
Wondering what you'll hear from the pre-debate spinners? Whoops! This morning, the Obama camp mistakenly distributed some talking points meant for staff eyes only. The pointers spell out how the campaign hopes to focus on McCain's "erratic" response to the economic crisis and his expected aggressiveness in tonight's debate.

Here are the talking points accidentally sent out to a distribution list of reporters by an Obama flack this morning. In bold red lettering atop the email: "Reminder: These are for staff only and not for distribution."

*This is John McCain’s last chance to turn this race around and somehow convince the American people that his erratic response to this economic crisis doesn’t disqualify him from being President.

*Just this weekend the weekend, John McCain vowed to “whip Obama’s you-know-what” at the debate, and he’s indicated that he’ll be bringing up Bill Ayers to try to distract voters.

*So we know that Senator McCain will come ready to attack Barack Obama and bring his dishonorable campaign tactics to the debate stage.

*Obama continues to lead on the economic crisis with a rescue plan for Main Street.

*Over the course of the campaign, Barack Obama has laid out a set of policies that will grow our middle class and strengthen our economy.

*But he knows we face an immediate economic emergency that requires urgent action – on top of the plans he’s already laid out – to help workers and families and communities struggling right now.

*That’s why Barack Obama is introducing a comprehensive four-part Rescue Plan for the Middle Class – to immediately to stabilize our financial system, provide relief to families and communities, and help struggling homeowners.

*This is a plan that can and should be implemented immediately.

*Obama has shown steady leadership during this crisis and offered concrete solutions to move the country forward – and his Rescue Plan for the Middle Class builds on the plans to strengthen the economy and rebuild the middle class that he’s laid out over the course of this campaign.

*Already in this campaign, he’s unveiled plans to give 95 percent of workers and their families a tax cut, eliminate income taxes for seniors making under $50,000, bring down the cost of health care for families and businesses; and create millions of new jobs by investing in the renewable energy sources.

*John McCain has been erratic and unsteady since this crisis began – staggering from position to position and trying to change the subject away from the economy by launching false character attacks.
