Don't miss his stand up on HBO. I seen his stand up about 2 months ago. That was some funny shit. He was talking about all current events. He is in my all time top 10 comedians if not the top 5.

caught the tail end of the interview...that Larry King was asking some racist questions..asking if the menu would change if Obama takes the white house..Rock was funny,,,I like the clip they showed of him talking about Osama Bin Laden and if he really exists...he called him a "7 ft diabetic terrorist living in a cave with no electricity, but his camcorder was fully charged up.."
Gonna watch his show this weekend

I thought that's what I heard. And there were a couple of other moments when it seemed like Chris was pulling the conversation back away from race. Like when he asked if Chris would be proud because Obama is black. And then the question about what would be the first thing Obama would do on the first day. Chris kept it about the qualifications of Obama. I was surprised that Chris didn't dig into him.

I love Chris Rock! Great interview.

Chris and Bill Maher have such clear insight. I could listen to both of them all day long.

Oh man, he was great. Even the crew behind the cameras was laughing. You usually never hear a peep from them. King came across as humourless and a bit racist though (only giggling at some name-dropping of celebrities and then laughing way too long and loudly at the jokes made on black people's expense). Besides, he always seems like he's made up his mind before the interview what kinds of answers his guests will give, and then when they take it in a different direction he's unable to adapt and just keeps going with the same line of questioning. Unprofessional.

I saw him on that show and he had me laughing my ass off. I know some people won't understand his humor, but Chris says a lot of things many want to say, but afraid to say it, and if you don't get his humor and you're too sensitive, then the program is not for you. But I will make sure I catch his show on Saturday, 9/27 on HBO.

I just watched the Larry King episode and it was indeed HILARIOUS!!! I am such a fan of Chris Rock because he is an intelligent comedian whose content is so diverse and varied. He is on my all-time great list. I love his quick wit and political sense as well as the fact that he is in touch with the black community and the world at large. I really respect the fact that he goes beyond the base-level sex and race jokes that so many comedians rely on for cheap laughs. Chris Rock makes you think and I love him for it. As a black woman, it is so nice and refreshing to see a black man on a mainstream stage with views so similar to mine.

I 100% agree with you. I actually changed my plans today to make sure I don't miss his show on HBO tonight. This is a good time for him to do this with all the tension surrounding the election, will help bring out some laughs.biggrin
