I'm not voting this year

Because I'm not satisfied with the candidates. I will vote in local elections to do my part.

i'm not buying christmas stickers to go with my cards this year. i'm going to use the money for extra postage instead. i had a few cards sent back to me last year because i didn't add enough postage, and i'm not making that mistake again.

I am voting. After protesting for 4 days and getting pushed around by cops, oh...I am voting.

Hmm. As much as I want Obama to win (and you will probably vote for McCain), I just want to point out that it is a privilege to be able to vote. Think of the struggle blacks & women went through in this country just to have that right. Not to mention people all over the world who still do not have that right; and die fighting for it.

But I guess not voting is your perogative. I just think it's kind of cop out when so many people are still fighting for something so many of us (Americans) take for granted. shrug

Did you read mine? The use of the words "Obama" and "McCain" were indicators my comment referred specifically to the Presidential elections in the USA; last time I checked neither of them were running for local elections.

RIF wink
