We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color.

C&L has the transcript:

Murphy: You know, because I come out of the blue swing state government work. Angler, Whitman, Thompson, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush. And these guys, this is all like how you want to (inaudible) this race. You know, just run it up. And it’s not gonna work.

Noonan: It’s over.

Murphy: Still, McCain can give a version of the Lieberman speech to do himself some good.

CT: Don’t you think the Palin pick was insulting to Kay Bailey Hutchinson, too (inaudible)

Noonan: I saw Kay this morning.

Murphy: They’re all bummed out. I mean, is she really the most qualified woman they could have turned to?

Todd: Yeah, I mean is she really the most qualified woman they could have turned to?

Noonan: The most qualified? No. I think they went for this, excuse me, political bullshit about narratives and (inaudible) the picture.

Yeah, but what’s the narrative?

Noonan: Every time the Republicans do that because that’s not where they live and it’s not what they’re good at and they blow it.

Murphy: You know what’s really the worst thing about it? The greatness of McCain is no cynicism and this is cynical.

And as you call it gimmicky.

How long before they are fired!? lol OH MAN! lol

Republicans are so confused about Palin they can't lie straight through to November 4th. I pray to God that she sinks his ticket so that the religious right is discredited because let's face it it's mostly the rabid right that is supporting her. Any Republican with sense is confused about her at best.

That party and our country will be so much better off when the religious right is irrelevant in politics.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to really mention Kay Bailey Hutchinson, she was the best possible pick for him. Her public response is that she turned him down. I bet he never really asked her though, she's not moderate at all. She wants to be governor of texas and then president, not vice president. I bet she's gearing up to run against Hillary in 2012.

if she truly turned him down, then good for her. she's too smart to be used as a political tool by a misogynist. i just wish she would come out and say so.
