McCain - a little thin-skinned?

haven't seen this confirmed on CNN.com (yet), but i guess Larry will have to find a new guest for his show:

McCain Cancels CNN Interview As Punishment For Criticizing Palin
By Eric Kleefeld - September 2, 2008, 4:39PM
It looks like the McCain camp is now actively taking steps to punish media outlets that give them bad coverage.

Wolf Blitzer just reported that the campaign has cancelled a scheduled interview with Larry King due to an unfriendly segment last night on CNN -- the segment we flagged last night where the network's Campbell Brown grilled McCain spokesperson Tucker bounds over Sarah Palin's lack of foreign policy experience.

Here's last night's segment:

Blitzer said the McCain campaign complained that Campbell Brown's grilling of Tucker Bounds over Sarah Palin's lack of foreign policy experience was "over the line."

how was this over the line? just because Tucker couldn't or wouldn't answer her question... shrug

not sure about the date edit

that TIME interview with him was very telling. i'm not sure if it's his campaign advisors or if he's just getting really cranky, but that's definitely not the McCain we knew in 2000.

lol yeah, you know, Larry King and his tough interview style would have proven too controversial. maybe the campaign will stick with People magazine from now on.

Me too. People don't believe me but the honest truth is that if it were a toss up between Gore and McCain in 2000, I would have voted for McCain nod Never now. Certainly not since he is promising a 3rd Bush term. N-E-V-E-R.

I was hoping this segment would end up on YouTube. I watched it last night, and I was like "holy shit, she really got him by the balls, and there is nothing he can do."

How anyone can still support the McCain/Palin ticket is truly beyond me ...

and that interview, the guy just got caught knowing freakin nothing about Palin..cuz she knows nothing about foriegn policy. He was the wrong choice to put with Campbell Brown, who I thought did absolutely nothing offensive.
