I don't think it undermines his legitimacy, political figures are caricatured all the time without lasting harm.
It does raise expectations and if done by the campaign, could come across as arrogant. But I love the optimism! biggrin

Meanwhile, civic knowledge is enhanced by discussing public affairs, taking part in civic activities and reading about current events and history, the group said.

I find it hilarious that people think a random T-Shirt is gonna hurt his campaign. It seems like some people wanna have him act and be a certain way and are afraid for him to have any "fun" or "personality" while he campaigns. It's like they want the dude to be this "serious candidate" at all times. Ridiculous. It's a damn T-shirt. People voting aren't gonna go "It was that T-shirt that made me not vote for him" lol.

oh it's not going to seriously hurt his campaign, he's doing much too well for that, i just think it's insulting to him to be treated that way. shrug no one's saying he can't have fun or show personality through joking around or whatever, that kind of thing will actually probably win more youth votes, but i don't think this is something his campaign has put out.

it belittles him. there's already enough people insulting the campaign & his supporters by casting them as 'fanatics', and this doesn't help that image.

I think there are more people out there that just feel they need to "protect" him a bit too much. It's a T-shirt having some fun. That's it. It's no big deal.

It's sensible to want his image to be protected until he's in the white house. But as I already said, I don't think this will seriously hurt his campaign, it just isn't a good thing.

Yes, you can order it online by clicking

but someone seeing it out on the street could easily assume his campaign was putting them out, you know? especially if they weren't familiar with it.

So if I saw a t-shirt with John McCain in the Oval Office on the Red Phone shouting, "Bomb, bomb, bomb, 'em all!" It would be safe for me to "assume" that his campaign was putting them out?

lol that's totally different! this isn't a directly negative image at all, it's just not one that respects him enough, imo.
