McCain insecure about Obama's visit to Afghanistan? I wonder why John McCain is making such a big to-do about Barack Obama "making his first visit to Afghanistan ever?" Obama will undoubtedly walk away with a better understanding in just one trip than the sum total of McCain's and Bush's trips combined, and maybe that's what McCain is afraid of... just like it only took Barack a mere 20 years of membership to understand what it took millions of others to know and understand about this church and its pastor from a mission statement and a few 'soundbites'.

Of course McCain is insecure about Obama's trip to Afghanistan and other parts of the Middle East. Obama is more popular than McCain. Plus, McCain knows that Obama will have a better grasp of the situation over in the Middle East than McCain ever will, and McCain has been in office for 20 plus years!!! “Although it is not true that all conservatives are stupid people, it is true that most stupid people are conservative.” John Stuart Mill

what i'd like to know is why he hinted at the exact date when Obama would be in Afghanistan and Iraq. it was obviously being withheld for security reasons. he tried to backpedal a little, but it was absolutely uncalled for. Like I have said before; let something happen to Obama. America's "democracy" will be rocked for years to come. “Although it is not true that all conservatives are stupid people, it is true that most stupid people are conservative.” John Stuart Mill

I heard on CNN this morning that the McCain camp is complaining about not getting equal coverage time.

He hasn't DONE anything! He was at a Detroit fundraiser (where he brought in the most money he has ever brought in and still lags FAR behind Obama), he's been pal-ing around with Mitt Romney (Lieberman is going to be jealous), and that's it! He keeps directing the media at Obama, telling Obama where to go and what to do, and then complaining when he doesn't get any time!

The thing is, the McCain of 8 years ago would have been a strong candidate but in his current form not even his own party is excited about him. I makes me wonder if the Reps even care about this election? It's like they're not even trying to win it...makes me wonder what's really in store for the US. I think this is kind of what Wesley Clarke had in mind when he said that McCain didn't necessarily have the kind of military experience that would make a good leader. McCain doesn't seem to have any sense of the larger context of military actions and such. He's kind of bunkered. Same thing with the surge. He's making a big deal about that even though it's a pretty basic thing. While he has nothing to say about larger policy goals. btw Clarke got lambasted by the McCain camp the same way that the Bush camp has been lambasting any retired generals who step out of line. I just hope Barry's trip is productive and safe and that he will hurry back home. McCain is too darn funny. He is trying to make silly jokes about Obama being over in Afghanistan, and other parts, for the first time, and now he is upset because Obama is getting mad press love!! McCain is such a loser. What next McCain? Obama has a better flight plan than you? Obama has better hair than you? have you heard the full versions of any of the speeches where these soundbytes came from? if so, you'd not be making such a dumb statement.

Like I have said before; let something happen to Obama. America's "democracy" will be rocked for years to come. Thats true. We all know there will be riots fights and probably a war in America for years to come, and blacks will even be more angrier than ever.

You have no evidence that this is true. That is what is scary. You guys are worshiping at the alter of Obama, and have no idea of what the guy can even do besides give a speech. Oh wait.....we already learned of his knowledge on the insurgency. It proclaimed it's failure in advance, but was DEAD WRONG.....hahaha Still you make a statement like you did.....

I find it hard to believe that McCain has feelings about anything at all. He's a robot, and his wife is a robotress. Blanche: Oh, I do love the rain so! It reminds me of my first kiss.
Dorothy: Awww, your first kiss was in the rain... Blanche: No, it was in the shower. My Blog - The Stank Nasty
