Hillary Clinton vs. Rudy Giuliani---who will you vote for if they both win their party's nomination?

No,I'm not suggesting that the race is over lol Let's assume that the two of them have won their party's nomination.Who will you vote for,and why? Who do you honestly believe will make the better president?

I think Clinton would win that one, female or no.

The Republicans are tainted, Giuliani doesn't play well to religious fundamentalists in the party nor the ethnic mionority vote after his hard line racial profiling in NYC. Even his non-anglo surname may be an issue in America.

i would probably vote for rudy . but Clinton will win .. in my opinion .. Rudy is touting that he wins nationally against Clinton ...

but using that same thinking - Bush1 woulda beat Clinton at this point of the election ...

its too early and Bush2 is too much like Rudy in my opinion for alot of Americans ... wink

Colonel Angus may be smelly. colonel angus may be a little rough . but deep down ... Colonel angus is very sweet.

Yesterday, there was a new poll that shows,in a hypothetical match-up with Rudy,Hillary would win.I know these early polls don't mean much, but it's incredible how far she's come.I think the Republicans expected her to be an easy candidate to defeat. They're in for a rude awakening!

Hillary, if it came down to those two. Rudy, OMG!! You think Reagan was clueless, Rudy would be a Reagan clone.

I detest both of them, but I hate Adolph Giuliani more. I'll vote for Hillary, but I'll do it holding my nose.

But if it comes down to Rudy vs. Hillary, Rudy wins unfortunately.

Well I would vote for Reagan's dead and rotting corps over either Rudy or hillary... LOL that should be a movie "night of the living president"

He would be smarter and be a better speaker but he would do wacky things like eat Condy Rice and Tony Snow's brains... and take Air Force one on a joy ride. in the end they would stop him with a simple bowl of pretzels.

This is shaping up to be the oddest election ever...

An Italian man might become the GOP nominee.
A woman (and former First Lady) might become the Democratic nominee.
Both candidates live in the same place (New York).

This stuff has never happened before lol

Is there anyone planning to sit this election out,if those two are the nominees?

Who do you think will do better in the debates?

I'll be sitting it out and I wouldn't care about the debate if this is how it shapes up.

Pwnd goes back about 15 years so people that are 30 should know what it means.

No way it goes back 15 years.
L33t h@x0r sp33k originated significantly later than that. IRC wasn't all that huge back in 92, so there weren't that many people to be uber c00l with.

No, no, no, don't sit out. We can't let Herr Rudy become president. I had enough of him as mayor. I consider Clinton the (slightly) lesser of two evils.

But that is how we got to where we are today...voting for the lesser of two evils.

A third party candidate cannot win today (or probably in the near future), but the more votes third party condidates get, the more the "main stream" candidates will take notice along with everyone else. That might just shake things up a little and create some positive changes.

I agree.Elections are always about picking the lesser of two evils. We'll never have a candidate that we agree with 100% on every issue,so you just have to pick the person that comes closest to your beliefs. For me,Hillary is that person.I can't vote for a racist, divisive creep like Giuliani.

Hillary--I prefer Obama, but Hillary if she gets the nod. I definitely hope Hillary edges out Edwards; HOWEVER, OUT OF THE THREE I REALLY LIKE EDWARDS' HEALTH CARE PLAN:
http://johnedwards.com/is...alth-care/

Now Hillary's plan is quite similar except she doesn't require a mandate:
http://www.hillaryclinton...hcareplan/

I hate to say it, but Obama's plan sort of straddles the two concepts:
http://www.barackobama.co...ealthcare/

I don't know, I'm not so fond of Edwards as a "persona," but I have to admit I really like his healthcare policy. It takes a definitive, huge step toward universal healthcare. I just don't like him so much, but the guy is brilliant...

As far as Giuliani...I like the fact he is more of a social liberal than some other conservatives, but he's still Republican.

Ron Paul is interesting, too, except I DON'T like his health care policy:

http://www.lewrockwell.co...ul407.html

And I have a fundamental disagreement with him EXCEPT his comments concerning international relations are quite interesting.

Oh.. it's getting more and more confusing.. but I'm voting Democrat all the way...

I think Hillary seems to have the majority support in the Democratic Party.

This is an interesting question because both are very unfit in my eyes. But I was listening to a discussion about this and the host brought up a good point. He said he would vote for the one that puts more people in line with his values in the supreme court. Even though the president is the commander in chief, the supreme court has a big part in making change. So while Rudy is socially immoral I would still vote for him because he would put more conservatives in the supreme court that would uphold human life and freedom as values.

America's political system used to be about the "pursuit of happiness." Now more and more of us want to stop chasing it and have it delivered.
