Sight Touch Taste Hearing Smell Were perfectly contrived by nature to equip us to decipher the most complex and simplest of information of which all are physical. If none of these senses can decipher it, then it is quite simply deemed a phenomena right? Meaning we have ansolutely no grasp on it at all right? So WHY do people put faith in something they simply cannot explain and dismiss it as FAITH...FAITH IN WHAT....IF YOU CAN'T FUCKING EXPLAIN WHAT THE HELL IT IS...WHY WOULD YOU PUT FAITH IN IT? JUST ASKIN.... I have an English version of Gary Zukav's "Seat of the soul"... Perhaps his writings can add a new insight to your truth, as it speaks of this matter.

Or, what is it called when you wake up and you know something is wrong with your child and you walk in her room, and her pillow is full of blood from a nose bleed and she's still quietly asleep. Intuition, Holy Spirit.....whomever, whatever you call it...its there. and my EXPERIENCE with that "thing" or element Dex says you can't explain is very real. I FEEL it, I see it and know it. You can't discredit my EXPERIENCE with something just because it doesn't make "sense" to you. Exactly. There have been so many times where my intuition screamed at me... Sometimes I listened to it, sometimes I didn't... but in the end my intuition had alwasy been right, when I looked back at the situation. I have had a large number of experiences in my life, that involved this "6th sense" or the Holy Spirit, God, Angels, Entities, Presence,... you tell me what it is that guided me or informed me... These experiences have made me a very humble person and I could not ever bring myself to dismiss the fact that there is much more than just our 5 senses. Life is much more than just the physical. That is what makes life so great. Life even has a sense of humor. In my deepest humble opinion, I feel that people are limiting theirselves by thinking that we are only here with our 5 senses to live, explore, give our legacy to the world and die. There is much more to learn, explore and grow in. Again, with all due respect. Let's agree to disagree, but in the end: let's hope it makes you think about what many people on this thread have confirmed: there is more to life than just our 5 senses.

Go into space where there is zero gravity and you will soon see how you have lost a vital sense... all I am asking you to do is NAME that vital sense....I believe in space...you and still see, hear, smell, taste, and touch.... up and down and its notions are based on the relative forces of gravity...this is for sure...and the presence of gravity or not is based on the aligment and configuration of the planets and universe...which are all physical. In space you cannot hear for it is a vacuum. You can only hear from within your container which contains air... Up and down is established by little sensors in the ear which reacts to gravitational forces. Smell is established by sensors within the nose which reacts to different odours... What is the difference? The reason they are called senses is because they SENSE the surroundings and pass that information back to the brain. there are many sensors within the body used for all kinds of things like detecting heat, cold, sharp, soft or tasting sweetness, bitterness, saltyness etc... Most senses come under the 5 mentioned but the sense of "up and down" does not... That sense, which helps us to balance and walk upright does not fit into any of the 5 categories but it is still very much a sense we could not live without... So without even going anywhere near the telekentic wonders of the brain to get a 6th sense, there is one that is very phisical and very much needed... Foresight would have to be called the 7th sense... "Dave, this conversation can serve no purpose anymore. Goodbye. " - HAL, 2001

I think this is the realm of spirituality, where each finds her or his own individual truth. And there it is... Whap! Atlanta Invasion '08!!! http://prince.org/msg/2/278306

Well...I simply will not and cannot put faith in something nobody can explain to me, this is what I meant about my thread. Not whether or not we have intuition or something like that. I don't have a child that was produced from within my body to have a connection with, so that parental intuition does not exist in my world. I also know that the universe is quite physical as planets, stars and the infinity of the universe is physical. I will only ever believe in what affects my physical world....so until an entity that doesn't fit that mold becomes prevalent in my world...I will not believe it.
