I can honestly say that I have never worn an upside down visor, but the only time I laugh at people wearing them is at the beach and that's because of the funny tan line they are going to get across the forehead.

Call me an intolerant person, but I cannot understand why some dumb asshole would wear a baseball cap sideways, a visor upside down or backwards or any of that silly shit. The purpose of a hat is to block the sun from your eyes... I would be equally disappointed if I saw people wearing underwear as a hat, as that is not the intended use of underwear.

Why do you always talk down someone who doesn't fit your idea of how to live? It comes across as if you had the chance you would either eliminate or at least humiliate those whos lifestyle didn't fit your view.

There is no doubt that I would be laughed at if I decided to wear underwear on my head... rightfully so. In short, I think that shit is silly and it is my Zeus-given right to make fun of it if I wish.

You've seen it... I've seen it... we've all seen it...

Why do people wear those visor cap things upside down with the visor pointing up??? You know the visor things, the ones with only a visor but no top.

I have also seen dumbasses wearing them with the fucking bill turned sideways... what are they trying to do, keep the sun off their right ear???

What the hell is wrong with that? A lot of people in my neighborhood do it, case it's just cool. I see nothing wrong with it.
They did WHAT??!.... disbelief

 Please, do as you wish. I was asking a question without trying to put you down. You seem so testy. You doing OK? Maybe you should wear a visor upside down and loosen up a little.

he could try saggin his pants a little, too... put a little pep in his step when he walks... get crunk in the funk, baby... biggrin

If "relaxing" requires adhering to the most ridiculous and stupid of all social trends, I would prefer hypertension.

Goddamn, that sagging bullshit is worse than the fucking visors!

please enjoy your hypertension, as i cruise down the street with my gangsta lean, and my nice fresh pair of baggies that leave me feeling cool & clean and with lots of freedom...

Why question others fashion sense? Clearly it is about fashion instead of function and I think that it can look okay. I'm sure that there are people who think the way you dress is funny as well.

AHA!

You wear an upside-down visor!!!

Or he doesn't judge others so critically. There are a few of us who can respect others opinions.

Not that I care what you think about it, but I don't like what I don't like and I like what I like... why are you so fucking concerned about what I do or do not like?

There is no doubt that I would be laughed at if I decided to wear underwear on my head... rightfully so. In short, I think that shit is silly and it is my Zeus-given right to make fun of it if I wish.

You super tolerant people aren't too tolerant of those who aren't like you either, are you?

i don't think he's concerned with what you do or do not like, but rather in the way that you convey these likes and dislikes...

Just as I dislike those dickheads, he dislikes my criticism of those dickheads... it is his right to dislike it, but it is very hypocritical of him to criticize someone for criticizing. Pot, meet kettle.

Like your analogy. I didn't put you down, so i wasn't being hypocritical. Nothing wrong with criticizing, IT'S HOW YOU DO IT! P.S If you did feel put down, please read the post again. The chip on your shoulder didn't come from me.

How's your visor hanging, C?

I can see the pain in admitting you were wrong (hence your weak reply). But it's cool. When it gets to the silly stuff i step. It's all yours, I'M THUUU

Don't be "THUUU," C... continue.

So, to extend this thread a bit, the following are very stupid:

Visors worn sideways, backwards, upside-down, or a combination.

Baseball caps worn sideways.

Very baggy, sagging pants.

Pants worn with one leg pulled up.

I think, AND THIS IS MY OWN PERSONAL BELIEF , dressing one's outer body has a lot to with what's going on in the inner body. Example, 50 year old men trying to dress hip hop are afraid of getting old. Pussies in KKK outfits want to hide the true ugliness inside their pussy hearts. Hip hoppers/rappers are rebelling -- going against the socially acceptable "norm" because they have been club whipped, slammed down face down, profiled...

Dig alittle deeper Ice, the answers are not always right there on the surface.

Hmmm... never really gave it a thought... Just thought this is what they do, because they do it.

Many of the total dumbasses doing this shit are middle-class suburban white kids who have never felt any oppression or anything and they are simply thinking that they look cool... which they don't.

Also, wearing a visor upside down is not a very amazing social statement... you could look really stupid in many ways... you could, for instance, wear a banana peel on your head to symbolize the stuggles of the banana pickers, etc.

In reality, these ignorant "fashion" trends have nothing to do with a social message and everything to do with blind herd mentality.

So here is the deal;

It's not that much of a fashion statement anymore here. It's been played for about 2 years now. Anybody wearing it now is doing so because they see it on Mtv.

THAT SAID...

There are girls out there (in the 12-19yr old range) who see guys wearing this outfit. they are reminded of the guy they saw on Mtv, and now they want to kiss him.

Guys know this, so they wear thier visor in the hopes that they can better attract the women.

In the end, it's all about naive girls and lecherous boys duking it out in the infamous "world series of love"

For better...for worse... smile

Still it's nice to know, when our bodies wear out, we can get another

Goddamn, I don't want to be on the playing field if that is the uniform to be worn in the world series!
