She looks the same, she's gain some weight but other wise I recognize her. Now Jeri Ryan still looks the same

Kate Mulgrew was great last year on Season 3 of Mr. Mercedes.

Been watching her since her soap opera days on "Ryan's Hope".

I’ve been watching the various Star Trek series in order, as they are on Netflix here. Enjoyed TOS, and TNG (mostly), but am seriously flagging having reached series 2 of DS9. I may skip DS9 and try Voyager. Also recently watched Discovery (couldn’t stand it) and Picard (liked).

DS9 just gets better and better. I would recommend sticking with it.

DS9 is definitely worth watching as well as Voyager. TNG geared up after Season 2 and never let up until it's terrific ending.

I’m not sure how much more DS9 I could stand, really. Might see out the series I’m currently on and then jump to Voyager unless there’s significant improvement.

TNG was good, but too many episodes that are just holodeck bullshit, Data wishing he was a real boy, or Wesley to the rescue.

Kate Mulgrew was very good in Orange Is The New Black.

I would suggest finding an episode guide, and using it skip ahead to the Dominion War.
Or at least, find some "top episode" lists and jump right to those episodes at least.

At the very very least watch Season 6 Episode 13, "Far Beyond The Stars".
And, if you liked "The Trouble With Tribbles", watch "Trials And Tribbleations".

Yup the Pike spin off. I hope they focus on exploring and no long season stories like Discovery did

You might get your wish, they're reporting more EPISODIC episodes with this series.

Enterprise cast still looks the same, wouldn't mind them bringing it back, going to need to rewrite that terrible aspect of killing off Tucker

Voyager is my favorite Star Trek Show. (Although, I love the cast of the Original and the next Generation, I feel over all that the Voyager shows are better than those other tv series.). Although, Voyager gets great starting season 4 when 7 of 9 becomes a regular. So, its okay as a series untill season 4 where it becomes great.

99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

Trying to keep my mouth shut because everyone's entitled to their opinion when they don't like this or that but I have an irrational love of it all.

I hear ya, KP. If true, dumbest move ever. Do what you want with new characters, leave the classics alone.

If ya haven't watched Picard yet, CBS all access is offering a free week:

Not sure WTF is happening as this is not the first example of wanting to edit art/film of the past.

What was created for entertainment is a reflection of the times, styles, thoughts, social norms of the time. Holding it up to today's standards and revising it is a little disturbing to me.

George Takei had it right; don't like it? Create something new and make it the way you would like it to be.
