No, haven´t tried them yet but can´t wait to try them during my next visit to the US.

Last week I tried the new vegan burger of McDonald´s. It wasn´t bad but a bit too dry and bland for my taste.

So......what about you? Have you tried them yet?

.

I think the higher price is normal due to the smaller amounts that are produced and sold.

Many criticize the big franchises for selling vegan burgers because in the end, they are still selling real meat burgers but others , such as PETA, are quite happy about those vegan options, hoping it might change people´s consumption of meat and maybe turn more people vegan, or at least vegetarian, or at least flexitarian. lol

We know they don´t really care about people´s health or the animals´ wellbeing , all they are interested in is profits and more profits and a better reputation but I think it´s still better than NOT having the option to choose.

.

The McDonald´s vegan burger needs to be a bit juicier though. They could add some more onions and pickles. The tomato slice is not really my thing, don´t like tomatoes in my burgers.

The patty is deepfried because they don´t make it where they make the meaty burgers, so they make it where they make the fries. But deepfrying it gives it a very dry taste and texture.

.

Years ago I tried some Morning Star products and they were pretty good back then. Probably much better today.
