Not much for me to say, as my Bears traded our first round pick to the Raiders for Khalil Mack (thank you very much biggrin ), and our second round pick was traded a couple of seasons ago to get Mitchell Trubisky. Our first pick this season is in the third round.

Uptown how do you feel about Daniel Jones? When one of my co workers who is a Giants fan

told me they selected Daniel Jones over Dwayne Haskins I thought he was bullshiting me. I

almost fell out my chair. Daniel must have had one hell of a combine.

I wanted Haskins - Jones at 6 was too high. But Jones does have history with the Mannings. We'll find out in 3 years who was right.

Gettleman is getting roasted in the NY media, and rightly so. Jones over Haskins???? And, he could have had a wayyy better QB had he picked Sam Darnold last year (which is what I wanted). What a fucking joke.

That's why I'm not a GM. I would have stayed put and draft a top corner(Murphy or Greedy) and took ILB second rd(Mack Wilson or Germaine Pratt). Nevertheless, I love the move to get Bush despite knocks on his size. If the Steelers feel this guy is a 10 year starter and it cost them only this year's 2nd and next year's 3rd rounder and you didn't have to give up a future 1st rounder not bad and the Steelers still have 2 3rd round picks this year. Also you kept the Bengals from drafting Bush too because they have a void in the middle with Burfict gone. I still feel they can get Lonnie Johnson from Kentucky or Julian Love from Notre Dame, or Rock Ya Sin in the 3rd for corner. Go defense with both 3rd rounders then look at WR and RB in the 4th and 5th rounds.

Just makes no sense. They would have even got more value taking an OT with that 6th pick

and still may have gotten Daniel Jones in the 2nd rd. I do like their other 2 picks in the first rd.

Dexter Lawrence is a grown ass man out of Clemson and DeAndre Baker is a solid corner.

Giants defense is a complete clusterfuck. They won Super Bowls because of defense, particularly their fearsome pass rush. The smart move was to draft Josh Allen and get the QB later.

I'd like to know what Gettleman saw in Daniel Jones that he didn't see last year in Sam Darnold, who's a better prospect. Dave Gettleman is as clueless as Jerry Reese.

Believe me they hated Gettleman here in Carolina.

That's what we thought about the last one, and some other team picked him right up.

Yep, the child has been removed from the home.

Terrible, terrible, terrible thing to do to a child.

I like Snell too having watched him play against South Carolina and other SEC foes

often. He doesn't have breakaway speed but can find holes and creases and has a nose

for the end zone. Didn't like the Dionte Johnson pick right away because I thought they

could have waited until the 4th or 5th round for receiver but when I looked at his tape

he has zip. Don't know if he will be a star player in the league but he damn sure won't

be a flat out bust like Dri Archer. I also like the Justin Layne pick and Isiah Buggs. Don't

know anything about the 2 LB's they draft later. If Bush is as good as advertised this could

be one of the Steelers best draft class in years. All the needs seems to be addressed. Not

all the rookies will make the team but I have a good feeling about some of them.

The best one was the last one, where the dude's friend just busts out laughing.

To be fair to the Giants, Daniel Jones was VERY highly thought-of during the 2018 season. He didn't just come out of nowhere. I hope he throws a whole bunch of touchdowns to Evan Ingram some day!

I like to use Limas Sweed as a bad WR reference
