NFL Offseason

Glad this episode is finally over in Pittsburgh. They didn't get the 1st rd pick they coveted but they got 2 picks out of the deal and got rid of a big ass headache in the locker room. AB will continue to

be good. I don't doubt that. How good depends on his attitude. The Steelers can still come out winners if Kevin Colbert knows what the fuck he's doing in the draft. He's not a favorite of mine. The dude can hit on late rd picks but reach at times on early picks big time. Go figure. Last year he fucked up by reaching for Terrell Edmunds in the first rd who had a 3rd rd grade and could have taken the ILB that they needed badly last year in Darius Leonard from my backyard(SC State) who had a monster season with the Colts. They could have gotten Edmunds in the 2nd or 3rd rd even. I don't trust Colbert at all. He better knock at out the park this offseason because Steeler Nation is upset Brown is gone for anything less than a 2nd rd pick. The Raiders have 3 fucking first rd picks and the Steelers settled for a 3rd and 5th. Uuggh!

The NFL offseason was plenty busy yesterday with free agency and trades.

OBJ going to the Browns for a 1st rd pick, an additional pick, and S Jabril Peppers.

Not a bad deal for either team. The Browns also added DT Sheldon Richardson. The AFC

North seems to be making moves to beat each other. The Ravens signed S Earl Thomas

and RB Mark Ingram. Good signings but they let 2 damn good LB's leave in Suggs and

CJ Mosley. The Steelers left their fans feeling deflated after trading Antonio Brown(Raiders) and allowing Le'Veon Bell to leave as an unrestricted FA(Jets) but bounced back with a couple of low key signings of their own CB Steven Nelson(26 years old) and WR Donte Moncrief(25 years old).

I will give it to the Browns they look great on paper but I'm laughing at all the media pundits that

are already giving them the keys to the Super Bowl and there is still the draft and more offseason moves to come. They have to get to the postseason first.

I look forward to the challenge. Let's go.

Yes for more money than the Steelers were gonna pay him.

He should be a nice quiet surprise for the Lions. He damn sure

can't do no worse than Ebron did for Lions.

Was he I didn't know that. falloff

It's not a question of will AB be great because he will be.

It's a matter of when his bromance with Carr takes a TO turn.

Rarely have the 2 best WRs in the game been traded away for cents on the dollar in the same offseason.

Anybody believes there won't be any conflict between diva and punk ass?

Antonio Brown insists there's no issue with LB Burfict

.

They were once were bitter rivals in the AFC North, but Antonio Brown and Vontaze Burfict are apparently now the best of pals as new teammates with the Oakland Raiders.

And at this rate, there might be a future outing with Brown and Burfict joining hands near a campfire singing Kumbaya and roasting marshmallows.

A day after Burfict, who has a history of questionable hits on Brown, offered high praise on th...e receiver, Brown had his turn Thursday with a post on Instagram emphasizing there is plenty of respect between the two players.

Brown, who once called Burfict "an idiot," further signaled no animosity with the linebacker in a Tuesday night tweet stati...wo talked .

So, there you have it after three straight days of documented evidence and declarations of a budding friendship.

Everything is clearly under the bridge with Brown and Burfict and bygones are bygones, so would anyone be surprised if the next social media post from either player shows them on a summer vacation together?

There were TEs that had longer careers and bigger numbers, but there were few TEs in my memory that were really good blockers with game-breaking ability. He'll be right up there with the best at his position.

I place a bigger premium on cats who dominated over compilers. Like Sandy Koufax & Earl Campbell, Gronk was untouchable in his prime. A definite 1st ballot HOFamer - right there with Winslow, Gonzalez, Mackey & Sharpe.

He reminds me of a modern-day Mackey -- ultra-rare size, physicality and athleticism.
