I take it he is gay.

Spike was being a baby, but Green Book made me groan. The white savior trope wins again. Not racist like that movie about the black football player but pretty groanful.

All you others say Hell Yea!! woot!

Yes cool . Baby worked that black velvet Victorian Belle!

Terence Blanchard needed to win for KkKlansman score. He is the shit - for 30 years now.

Congrads to Spike, still needs a Best Director.

- The new ceremony format worked really well ... less of those painful 'skits' that no one found funny. They should stick with this for future ceremonies.

- Was hoping Bale would get Best Actor, but pleased they went for Malek as his performance was great, even if Bohemian Rhapsody is overrated.

- Really pleased Coleman won Best Actress ... what a journey she's had!

- What did Mahershala Ali have on his head?! Pleased he won though ... loving his work in True Detective season 3 at the mo.

- Few names missed out on the In Memorium section as usual. I get that there's a lot to cram in but no Dick Miller or R.Lee Ermey?

- Huge clanger at the end. Green Book didn't even make my top ten of the year. It'll be this generations Driving Miss Daisy. 2018 was a very average year for cinema (from March onwards) but there's no way Green Book was the best film of the year. With no frontrunner in the traditional 'Oscar bait' genre of movies the Academy should have taken the opportunity to give the award to something different like Mandy or Isle of Dogs

Everyone made such a big deal of not having a host for the Oscars, but it worked out well and actually made the show go faster. The telecast actually ended up being shorter than the Grammys this year. I think the Academy and ABC should take note of this for next year's Oscars.

He sure did. I've been transitioning into a capsule wardrobe and minimalist home decor, but he made me pause for a minute. lol

King/Queen ruled the red carpet. Best concept and flawless execution. His interviews were fresh too. More, please.
