Me too! I don't know them, did I see a spider, a lobster, and a turtle? But I can hardly wait to see this.
What? |

There is no turtle.....that's Mothra in larval form.
Gamera (the flying turtle) isn't a Toho monster. He's owned by a different company. |

This looks really fucking stupid and I can't wait. The first Godzilla (well, not the first one, but you know what I mean) was a bit boring. I don't know how they made a movie about a giant lizard boring but they did it. This one looks like it won't have that problem. Godzilla vs a 3 headed dragon thing? I'd buy that for a dollar. Its a good sign for the inevitable Godzilla vs King Kong. |

So far we have Godzilla, Rodan, Mothra, King Ghidorah (the 3-headed dragon), plus glimpses of other kaiju (Titans). It's obvious Michael Dougherty loves and respects the original source material. He's even using Toho Godzilla's theme music.
THIS is the American Godzilla film us hardcore fans have been waiting decades for, unlike that shitfest from Tri-Star in 1998. |

I actually don't mind the 1998 one. I was only 8 years old when I seen it first so it's just one of those things where if you see it as a child, it sticks with you. I can understand why a lot of Godzilla fans wouldn't like it though. But I prefer that to the one that came out a few years ago. This new one looks good though. I find that the older I get (I'm 28 now) I value entertainment above all else when it comes to movies. That's why I really enjoyed Aquaman. Its just one crazy action scene after another and there's a lot of stuff that just doesn't make sense but it looks cool so it gets a pass. This new Godzilla movie looks like it's got quite a bit in common with Aquaman. |

The 1998 piece of shit was Godzilla in name only. Think of Joel Schumacher's Batman & Robin and you'll understand why fans hate TriiStar's Fakezilla. No respect for the character at all. As for Godzilla's screen time in 2014, well that's always been the case. He had less in the original 1954 film. To this day, it's still the best one. |

I'm looking to see what Godzilla can do. What makes him King. In the trailer he looks to be at such a disadvantage because of his reach, the 3 headed monster is on top of him from miles away. I don't know. I just have to see this. What? |

I'm guessing he'll use his blue fire breath stuff. It was pretty effective in the last one. |

In the trailer, there was a shot of Godzilla in his "burning" form, which means his ray will be more lethal (and red in color). |

I see the red now, it's right after the moth lets out that bone chilling screech. *shiver*

Burning Godzilla is from "Godzilla vs Destroyah" (1995). His atomic heart malfunctions, giving his body a red glow. Eventually he melts down and dies.
Michael Doughterty did his homework. |

A rap battle between Godzilla and Kong. That's an interesting proposition. My money would be on Godzilla though. I mean, I know Kong can talk a good game but so can Godzilla. The difference is that Godzilla can back it up. I heard he plays a mean bass too. Or was that Bootzilla? |

I like it. As much as I love 2005 Kong, I think Skull Island Kong looks/is more unfuckwithable for that.

Warner Bros has released posters featuring a trio of Godzilla's arch-foes. The posters come on the heels of the second trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

I've been a G-fan ever since the early 70s, when my folks took me to see "Godzilla vs the Thing/Shaft's Big Score" at a local movie theater. Those posters gave me a nerdgasm. The monster designs are fucking awesome. Doughterty gets it. He added his own flair while staying true to the basic design. Rodan hasn't looked this menacing since his original 1956 film. |

That's 'King' Ghidorah.
What's really cool is the japanese themes for each of the Big Four will be used in the film. Nice!
Have to see this in IMAX |

You know why the Skull Island Kong rocks? He's a throwback to the 1933 original, which is more of a hybrid ape/human monster than Peter Jackson's oversized gorilla. |

He's definately much more sexually attractive. If he even gets to have a girl, I don't know.

100%! I cannot wait for this film. All of the Toho films, "Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster" was one I got around late too, but it became an instant favorite. Really looking forward to see how it all comes together in this film!
chill..prince doesnt like men being front row, makes it hard to sing the ballads |
