If you have little ones o guess it’s ok. I personally hate it.

Today I am going to a couple of places for thanksgiving. A family one and a good friends. I hate feeling like I have to go. Does anyone really like these things? It’s a lot of work and a lot of folks I’d rather not see and pretend to be happy to see. I would totally avoid all of it if it was just me, but one dinner is my S.O.’s family and I’m trying to avoid drama.

Yes I’m a grinchz and I hate phony scheduled organized events that osmosis seemingly blindly drives people to participate.

I personally love Christmas but I feel your pain. It's one thing to go to these things of your own volition but it's another thing entirely to feel like you have to go. Lucky for me, I stopped caring about that kind of thing years ago so now if I'm invited somewhere I don't want to go, I just say no. Simple.

You'd think that but the weather is always miserable here around Christmas time. It's always freezing cold and raining.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

I'm pretty sure this angel is too big for the tree, like she could lift it off the floor. I'll get, maybe a star.

ok they change the name of the thread for some reason. But really I wouldn't mind experiencing one Christmas in Ireland even if it's freezing cold and raining.

Wow, 9 pages about online sports. And how did I not see this thread before? I think a controller is better than a keyboard for sports video games.
