Would You Try This Slushie Flavor?

June 11, Sonic is introducing a Pickle Juice Slushie. Would you partake?

This experience will cover courtship, sex, commitment, fetishes, loneliness, vindication, love, and hate.

I was a pickle freak as a kid--makes a difference if your Gramma is pickling cucumber from the garden...

I like making my own pickles, but I haven't done it in a few years. I've been saving pickle juice from pickles we buy. I play to brine a chicken in it before I bread it and put it in my air fryer.

My late Gramma on my Dad's side made the best home-made pickles I ever had. In fact, when she passed away there were so many jars of pickles (all kinds!) that they couldn't give them all away! LOL She also made the best fried chicken I ever had in my life.

Grandma's are the best. Mine used to can pickles and her bread and butter pickles were the best. That is if us kids weren't around stealing spoonfuls of juice out of the pot. She canned everything her pickled beets were the best. She kept us grandkids busy helping her pick, clean, stem, cut and stuffed. biggrin
