Who has their Avengers tickets booked?

Prime seat booked for the 0:01 showing on Wednesday night ... 37 years old and super excited, such a child!! lol

I'm predicting the death of one of the main characters, either Tony Stark of Steve Rogers ... and I'm hoping for a post credits sequence where the reality stone is used to call in heroes from other realities, ie. Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and Patrick Stewart's Xavier. Well, I can dream at least!

I'm hopefully seeing it tomorrow afternoon when my local cinema has its preview screening ahead of general release. If for whatever reason that doesn't come to fruition, then I'll have to wait until Saturday when I bring my daughter.

As far as predictions go, I'll guess that at least one major character will die. Loki, Cap and Drax are all candidates.

Loki, because he's probably done all he can do in this series and killing him would be a big moment for the characters without it impacting the future of the MCU too much.
Captain America could be killed, I think, because he's seen as a leader for the team and with this being a two part movie, killing him in the final moments of part 1 would really raise the stakes ahead of part 2.
And I think Drax might die because Thanos was responsible for killing his family so it would only be a fitting end for him if he was to also get killed by Thanos. Plus, as good as he is in the Guardians movies, I think he's the one audiences could live without if one of the Guardians is going to die.

As far as your dream for that post credits scene, I think you'll have to keep dreaming lol. My prediction for a post credits scene is Nick Fury showing up to introduce Captain Marvel to whatever is left of The Avengers.

I sometimes get to see movies ahead of their official release because I know someone who manages the cinema. It doesn't always happen though.....

My Avengers Infinity War review.

I'll refrain from posting any spoilers here until at least a few weeks after the movie comes out because this is definitely a movie in which you won't want to be spoiled. Also, before I get into it, I've literally just seen it so it's still so fresh for me and my opinion may change slightly in the morning.

Having said that, my early impressions are overwhelmingly positive. Maybe because I assumed that having so many leads characters would ultimately ruin it, I never expected it to be a great movie. Exciting? Yes. Good action? Of course. But certainly not great. HOWEVER, I'm pleased to say that I was wrong. Because not only is this a great movie, it's also in the running to be my favourite movie of the MCU. I'll have to sleep on it and perhaps see the movie again before making the claim that it's the best in the series but it's definitely in the top 3.

Like I said, the main worry I had going in was that too many superheros would spoil the broth. But I missed the point. This is not an Iron Man movie or a Thor movie (although Thor is REALLY good in it) or even an Avengers movie. It's a Thanos movie featuring The Avengers. Great superhero movies are generally made by how good the villain is. Jack Nicholson's Joker, Gene Hackman's Lex Luthor, Tom Hiddleston's Loki. Even Heath Ledger, Kevin Spacey and the villains from the Marvel Netflix shows prove how important it is to have a great villain. And Thanos joins that illustrious group. He's absolutely fantastic in this movie. I can't say why, but trust me. He's brilliant.

In fact, I can't really get into specifics of anything yet because everything that makes this movie so good was completely unexpected to me. Mentioning ANYTHING here would ruin it. All I'll say is that there IS a post credits scene, which I'd recommend you stay for.
