Doritos "Lady Chips" ?

i say leave the current Doritos recipe alone because the chips are already perfect in all their loud crunching, orange powdery goodness.
BUT apparently ladies need less loud crunch and none of that finger mess. lol what say you Org? loud crunch and orangy fingers? or quiet and no orangy? the twitter responses on this topic are hilarious.

http://www.nydailynews.com/life-style/pepsico-ceo-women-chips-don-crunch-loudly-article-1.3801141

[excerpted]

"When you eat out of a flex bag— one of our single-serve bags— especially as you watch a lot of the young guys eat the chips, they love their Doritos, and they lick their fingers with great glee, and when they reach the bottom of the bag they pour the little broken pieces into their mouth, because they don't want to lose that taste of the flavor, and the broken chips in the bottom," Nooyi told Freakonomics. "Women would love to do the same, but they don't. They don't like to crunch too loudly in public. And they don't lick their fingers generously and they don't like to pour the little broken pieces and the flavor into their mouth."

Her solution?

For women, low crunch, the full taste profile, not have so much of the flavor stick on the fingers,” Nooyi said. “And how can you put it in a purse? Because women love to carry a snack in their purse."

Nooyi's interview has since sparked heavy backlash on social media, prompting both women and men to question the company's design and its CEO's comments."

nod mm hmm. the world is in need of saving. so, what'll it be? old style go-for-it-chips? or newer, softer, 'lady chips'? do you prefer the smaller, quieter bag that you can pop in your purse and eat quietly on the subway????

Doritos aren't *just* for eating, you know. they make excellent fire starters in a pinch, like if you're stuck in the woods.

I'm a 65 yr. old female and I LOVE Doritos just the way they are! I got the corner of one stuck in my gums once and my mouth bled like hell, and the salt content will raise my blood pressure so high that my doctor has a fit during my exams. I find they are addicting especially the CRUNCH.
