they should have ended the war at the halfway and then moved to the next stage...they are stuck on 16 eps per season with major changes each 8...i am not sure that is wise as it just drags out the plot.

but sadly I think that unless something big happens I am about done...

I need to catch up and watch this weeks episode. I was busy last Sunday..... Sounds like it wasn't as lively as the last episode.

As far as the ratings drop, I've read about ratings drops for a lot of shows. the beginning of Season 7 left a sour taste in my mouth and I admit, although I still enjoyed the show, I wasn't looking forward to each episode as I was during previous seasons so I can understand why the ratings may have dropped because of the gory way Season 7 began. But, at the same time, the mid-season 8 premiere of TWD clobbered the closing cerimonies for the Winter Olympics so I don't think we are in danger of the series being cancelled anytime soon.

nod I'm pretty sure that the show will go on for at least 2 or 3 more seasons.

Anyone else feel like they were swaying away from Rick and towards Negan at the end of this weeks episode? Negan was talking way more sense and actually seemed upset about Carl.

He was really upset about it. I liked this last episode a lot, it was kind of sad, though.

Was quite sad ... our hero for eight seasons is finally breaking down completely, to the point where I'm not sure I like him anymore.

And they are finally moving Negan closer to how he is in the comics ... he's a b*rstard but ultimately he wants to save people; you might not agree with his methods but you can agree with his aim. That really came across last night. I'm wondering whether they are gonna make Simon the ultimate villain now and align Negan with Rick ...

I didn't. She should have chose a side and stuck with it. I just couldn't believe how stupid she was to have everyone turn over their weapons to people she knew couldn't be trusted and have the saviors kill them all 60 seconds later. Oh, and why all of a sudden did she start speaking in complete sentences when Rick and Machonne showed up? She never did that before. lol

I think the speech patterns they used was part of the pretence, part of their "new world" living in the junkyard ... soon as her people were all gone that world was dead to so no point keeping up the charade. I'm glad they dropped it as I thought it was stupid to have people talking like that; its not like we're thirty years in to the apocalypse and people have forgotten good standards of English! biggrin

I'd like to see Jaydis stick around. I was hoping Rick might save her ... potential Jaydis/Rick/Michonne love triangle lol

if that Lucille idea works it changes established things... in one of the very first eps someone got hit with an arrow/bolt that went through a walker...and that person did not join the club. and they have been covered in gore several times and no one turned. It better not work.

It probably has to do with having open wounds so that the virus can get into your bloodstream. This would explain why they were able to cover themselves in gore.

But that does not explain why that person who was hit by that bolt did not turn.

Then again, I don´t even remember that scene.

Do you remember the character? I really have no memory of that .

I guess Negan is going to use some sort of scrapnel or nails or whatever to injure folks so that the virus can get into the bloodstream of a potential victim. Or maybe they´ll catapult living heads with intact brains that can still bite? Like biting landmines?

The next episode is going to be interesting.

I think that the writers have finally got the message and the show will now move on from the Negan storyline smile the new characters that we saw last night might be from a new group called the Commonwealh,a storyline which is now being explored in the comic book.

Hey, you know, I just realized that The Walking Dead is very similar to Dark Souls - https://ranktopten.com/da...lass-14174 personally I'm obsessed with TV series, but know I try to do different thing, such gaming, is my hobby!

As Negan said "Sucks, don't it? The moment you realize you don't know shit".

Yeah, that was a real surprise seeing Georgie turn up in this week's episode!

I think they might smush together the Whisper and Commonwealth storylines now, with Negan disappearing for a while then turning back up to help the group when they are really in the sh*t with the Whisperers.

They do need to wrap up the Negan thing somehow soon ... how many times can they get away with Rick not being able to shoot him despite being a few metres away or conveniently running out of bullets?
