Funny or embarrassing Childhood memories

Okay, I got 2 for U. Here you go:

The first one is, harmless 'cause I think at some point, almost every child did that. So, one day we've been playing truth or dare and I chose the second. And they said: "You run up to the guys who play soccer and show them your ass.

I wasn't a weenie, so I just ran up there and hollered: "Hey, look at this!" They been looking in my direction and I showed them the full moon. lol Now, when I look at it from my views today, I kinda find it a bit embarrassing, but still funny.

The second thing was kind of a foulplay from my sister, as she made me do it. There was this little song some kids at our school sang, it had german lyrics and I don't remember one bit from it, but it was extreme and kids shouldn't sing that. My sister was like: "Come on, just do it." So I said: "But don't tell mom, pinky promise." She pinky promised. So I sang her the song and as soon as I was finished she ran up to my mother and told her that I sang this song.

Now, trouble would be an understatement, trouble would've been shouting at me. I got my ass whooped like never before in my life. And we got our ass whooped before lol with wooden spoons and shit like that.

You can imagine how I hated my sister for that lol But I can laugh about it today, because I should've known better.

A funny childhood memory for me happened when I was 13 and I brought my first boyfriend home to meet my mother. Now, a bit of background first. I never knew my father so I had a few different "father figures" throughout my childhood. Until my mother got bored with them and moved on to the next one. But one constant presence was a guy who my mother grew up with and she'd remained friends with all her life. He also happened to be a priest. But I'd known him since birth so I always just considered him an uncle despite not being related. So, one day after school I brought my boyfriend home and my "uncle" was there too but he wasn't wearing his collar so as he could be identified as a priest. Anyway, introductions were made and things were going well until my uncle mentions that he was at church that morning helping out Father Billy with something or other and asked if my boyfriend goes to church. To which my boyfriend replied "no, I don't feel like spending my Sunday mornings in the presence of thieves and paedophiles". My uncle, the priest, got a kick out of it but my boyfriend felt really awkward when I told him my uncle was a priest.

One time when I was 13 I got seriously drunk at a family party. I snuck some drinks with my cousin. My parents were driving home and I started to talk all drunk. My mom and dad asked me if I was drinking and I just didn't care and said yes. I was so drunk and talking nonsense. Another time I got lost. I left home and walked into some woods for miles. I was like 6 years old. I remember walking past a snake and a huge water spring. I finally found my way home covered in prickers, dirt and cut from going through shrubs. I remember I was terrified and a few people were looking for me. Another time some construction worked were working on a three story building and I got on the ladder and climbed up on the roof at age 7 and was walking around the roof and everyone was terrified but they didn't try to act it because they thought the would scare me and I would fall off the the roof and eventually I saw my dog and climbed down the ladder. I use to sit on this large boulder and feel the vibrations of the earth that is my favorite memories. The worst memory of course was getting physically abused by some family members but fortunately was not my parents.

What are you outraged about today? CNN has not told you yet?

Apparently, my mom had some mixed drinks made up in the refrigerator when I was around 2 or 3 years old. I thought it was koolaid and drank it. According to family stories, I went around afterwards trying to beat up all the adults. eek

When I was around 12, the guy I was crushing on, came by our house. Back then, we had these tube tops that my aunt would buy for us girls to wear in the summer. (I hated those things and never felt comfortable in them, but my aunt insisted we wear them.) I'm talking with the guy and my little sister (age of 5) came up behind me and grabbed my tube top and pulled it down. :-/

Most of the embarassing stories I can recall involve someone "pulling something down" on me or vice versa, strange how those stories remain and one can still feel the vivid embarassment. I can only imagine what people who are victimized in terrible ways must endure in memory.

.

Also people who wore MC Hammer pants in the early 90s were basically asking to have them pulled down.

if it was just a dream, call me a dreamer 2

Thanks for sharing your stories! biggrin I got another one. Now this one happened when my sister and I still had to share a room and it was during the final exams so I was really stressed! One night my sister got out of bed to get some water and she said that I said: "Thanks." She thought I was pissed because she woke me up. But she wasn't even sure if I was awake so she was like: "Why thanks?" And I said: "Thanks for cleaning the bathroom." And she goes "what?" And I, very angrily said: "You just cleaned the kitchen! Now shut up because I gotta sleep." I then tried to open a chocolate bar and eat it, but I failed."

The only thing I remembered was that talking felt really difficult, I couldn't remember what I said or if it was real lol But my sister told me about that in the morning.

At first i couldn't remember any funny or embarrassing childhood memories. I do have some shameful memories(that are embarrassing, as well), but i couldn't really think of any funny or embarrassing memories to make light of... In looking back though, i do have a few...

One was the time i shaved off my eyebrows eek. I must have been about 5 or 6. I would see my mom trim her eyebrows, so one day i figured I'd do the same... Bad decision! Besides the embarrassment of being a male child with no eyebrows, what i remember about that incident was that i cut myself, and that i got made fun of. Oh, and i eventually grew a unibrow(which i now shave).

The other incident was the first time i got drunk...The time i got really, really drunk.

I was about 15, and it was the first time i drank hard Liquor. Vodka, to be exact. This was in a small town in California. It was me, my older uncle, and an older cousin. We were near the main street, in a alley, in back of a liquor store(the liquor barn). So, like i said, i was 15, and my uncle was about 19, 20. And in spite of being under 21, he was able to procure a pint of Vodka...So, both my uncle and cousin take sips of the bottle, then they hand it to me... and me being the idiot that i am, i take a gulp of the bottle, then pass it. Eventually, the bottle gets back to me, and i take another gulp...And the last thing i somewhat clearly remember is my uncle saying slow down Bubba(his nickname for me)...and then i was out(as in blacked out, passed out, and all other kinds of outs)...I was completely incapacitate. I couldn't walk, talk, etc(found all this out later). So, apparently, what happened was after the second gulp, i automatically passed out. I lost my shit. I was gone... Now, i was kinda big for my age, but my uncle was(is) kinda short(totally OT, but he can fight like a MF, though), and back then my cousin was as well. The thing is though, they had to get me to my Aunt's house(my cousin's mother), about a 1/4 mile away from where we were...So they do their best to carry me there. I do remember having periods of awareness (while on our journey). I remember my uncle telling me that i had to try to walk(didn't really work, though). I remember falling down and hitting my head(a couple times). And i remember my face constantly being in the dirt...

So we make it to my aunt's house. And even though i was out of my mind drunk, i do remember some things. I remember laying on my aunt's couch, constantly spitting on her floor(and the couch). I remember talking mad shit(coherent and not). And i remember hitting on a relative (a history, and a whole nother story cool ), trying to get her to marry me... Damn, ain't no telling the secrets i told... eek

So eventually, my mom and step dad come and get me(we lived 8 miles away, in another town). I don't remember the ride home, but i remember the eventual hangover. That thing was horrible. But it didn't stop me from ever drinking again.

The interesting thing is, after that, there was only one other time in my drinking history where i was unable to hold my liquor. After that first time being drunk, I could drink massive amounts of alcohol and not really show it. Besides that one time, the only other time that i got shit faced was back in 1996(not for a lack of trying). That wasn't the last time i drank any alcohol though. That would be the period around when Prince died...

It was hard living that one down. I caught hell from a few people. My aunt, for spitting all on her floor. And from my mom, for being a fuck up... I put that woman through some stuff... sad

Anyway, here's a picture of me, around the eyebrow period. When they were growing back. You can kinda see the cut(on the right eyebrow).
