Angelina Jolie is far too old to portray Lara in this movie. This movie is based off the game which rebooted the Tomb Raider game series and focuses on a younger Lara Croft.

Kim Kardashian's name was being bandied about during the development phase of this movie years ago.

THAT version might've been more campy fun than this movie looks.

this new one looks great. I did like Angelina, but she is a bit old. As to Kim Kardashian? Oh hell no!


A big mistake would be to cast someone well known just because they happen to look like the character in a game. With Angelina, she had the look and the ability to pull it off.


Alicia Vikander seems to have it all!

But I also think that the next (or one after that) Indiana Jones should be a handoff to a new younger actor. The way to do it is to have both Harrison and the new one in it. So some old 'adventure' is being revisited by Harrison-Indy and he tells the story in flashbacks of what happened years ago with the New-Indy. And that sets up a new actor in the role. (and some hate the idea [like with Solo: which is said to be great there are hints otherwise but Trust Me] but to them, I say 'don't go' like I would not see a Tomb Raider with Km K)

she was good in the role but the stories sucked big time.
