Amazon sucks!

Okay, what's going on with Amazon at the moment? Like, do they want to piss off people on purpose or what?

I had a lot of orders (christmas time, right?), BUT my account had enough money, so everything could be paid! Now I got three e-mails for three different orders, and they told me they didn't get the money. At first I thought I didn't have enough money, but when I checked it (several times), the money was there.

I called them and they told me, it's their fault. They got something wront with the expiry date for my credit card. Okay, I asked them what to do now and they told me to buy a coupon for 100 euros, I should charge my amazon account with it and they'd pay the bills with the money on the account.

I bought the coupons and charged the account, as they told me!! I messaged them to take the money from my amazon account (BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT THEY TOLD ME TO DO). Guess what they wrote back:

"We tried to take the money from your bank account (Effing idiots!!!), but it didn't work (DUH), so you should transfer it from you bank account to our bank account."

It doesn't work this way because they effing screwed this shit up! The thing is I have all these problems because they messed up! Now I've bought coupons for 100 euro (BECAUSE THEY TOLD ME TO DO IT) and they don't take the money from the account.

I e-mailed them again and if they still won't take the money from the coupons, I'm gonna make them pay me the 100 euro back. Because they told me to do it thru these coupons.

What was the issue with the credit card? If the Amazon and/or its sellers made an error and got your expiration date wrong on your credit card... that appears to be an easy fix?

If Amazon can't access your bank accoun,t contact your bank to see what the issue maybe. I'd wouldn't transfer ANY monies anywhere until all this was sorted. You have two options, credit cardand/ or your bank account. Tet you are jumping through hoops to pay for your stuff? Something ain't adding up....

I stand my ground....C.C or bank account.

No they said they couldn't get the money, so I did the math and found out, that there was enough money to pay the bills. So I called them and they said: "We messed up the exliry date of your crédit card and that's why they couldn't get the money." So I said : "Let me pay the bills with my last 100€ from my bank account." and they said I should buy coupuns for 100€ and charge my amazon account with it and they'd take the money from the amazon account.

So I took my last money to charge my amazon account to pay the bills and now they told me they can't take the money from the amazon account, because that won't work. And I told them to give me the money back, so I can pay the bills once and for all. But they said: we don't give the money back, because you charged with the Coupons.

Well, I don't have the money and I won't get it back again. Now my amazon account is charged but the money for the bills is gone!

They told me to do it thru these Coupons and not thru the Bank account because it would take too long.

I don't get their failure with the crédit card seither, because every other order worked..... but these three didn't although the expiry date is the same.

Are you sure you're shopping on the real Amazon site and not some scam site? Amazon is the easiest and most efficient shopping experience I've ever had. I enter my card information. They send my stuff. Done. If I don't like what I ordered, they send a carrier to my home to pick the item up and my money is refunded. Just curious, are you buying items directly sold by and shipped from Amazon? Or are you buying from third party sellers?

It was Amazon Germany, it's the real site. They just messed up the expriy date of my credit card and that's why they didn't get the money. That's dumb, but that's not that bad. The fucked up thing is what happened after that with the coupons they told me to buy to pay the bills via my amazon account.

They don't do it thru them and they repeated three times that they won't give me the money back. The money I would've needed to pay the bills......

Get in touch with Amazon, send a complaint about the vendors, but don't let them steal your money.

I did three times already. But they won't give in, they said: "We understand your situation, but we can't send the money back, because you charged the account with coupons.

I don't know what else to do. Is ist possible to do something through a lawyer? Because if I call again, I'll get the same answers and I know that they won't give me the money back, no matter how often I call.

But you said they didn't charge the coupons, because they weren't able to take the money out of your amazon account after you purchased the coupons. I would tell them you want the money back for the coupons, from your amazon account.

I told them to give the money back, but they won't do it. That's the problem. They said I could ask my family for the money and keep the coupon on the amazon account.

That's why the Situation is so fucked up

UPDATE:

Called them again just a few minutes ago and now the guy on the phone told me, that this is the first time that a thing like that happened and that they gonna send this to their boss.

I don't have to worry about the bills, I'm not going to get more emails about it and it COULD be possible, that they take the money from the coupons to pay the bills.

I really hope it works this time biggrin
