Freaky was rooting for your Bengals to beat the Ravens. Glad Ravens are not in the playoffs. Hope Bills beat the Jaguars.

Browns 0-16. I do kinda feel bad for them. Hope they learned their lesson about the draft. Last 2 years the Browns were picking players that ESPN were predicting the Steelers were going to pick. Browns just focus on building up a defense and for offense just focus on your o-line. Stop look ing to get a franchise QB, your team is not ready for that. But hey keep doing what you been doing.

KC pulled off a win with the rookie QB, although it was a little ifey towards the end.

if Steelers don't win I want KC to win it all

I hope KC can go that far. We've been burned too many times with them....1 and done...is normally how it plays out.

The team their fans typically hate the most just sent their asses to 0-16. Eventually you figure if steam is drafting top 5 every year they will eventually improve. If they went 0-16 next year I wouldn't shed a tear. Their ruthless fans deserve it. Don't laugh at my funk

I did say kinda, but it is their fault because of some of the issues I brought up. Don't know why they are not firing their coach. But I rather see the Patriots, Ravens, Bengals, Cowboys have 0-16 seasons.

Browns have bigger problems than Hue Jackson. He has no real QB, and look at the QBs they've drafted the past decade or so. They stink from the top down, with a bad owner and a clueless front office. Bill Belichick couldn't turn them around because bad owners kill franchises. The franchises with sustained success (Pats, Steelers, Spurs, (baseball) Cardinals) have smart ownership, who hire the right people, stay out of the way and write the checks. There's one philosophy throughout their organizations - we're about winning, not accepting mediocrity and either you buy in or say good-bye. Giants have solid ownership too, but they made a mistake in hiring McAdoo and kept Reese too long.

the Browns problem is simple...they dont dont spend the money it takes to compete for championships...on anything...their front office, their stadium, their scouting and coaching, they dont keep their good players, they dont aquire good players in free agency because the players know Cleveland is a 2nd rate organization, they dont draft well because they dont have top rate scouting resources...anybody who takes a job there should know hes destined for failure...with all that said, they have the 3rd best uniforms in the league after the Vikings and Steelers...

That's their problem, stop looking for a QB. They would suck if they drafted Tom Brady. They need to just focus on their defense, then for offense an o-line, then they can start looking for a star QB/WR/RB.

The Browns with the third best uniforms? Really Only Green Bay's unis are worse in my opinion. There is a reason Steelers fans refer to the Browns as the Stains because their unis look like turd. Next to the Steelers I've always liked the Bucs dreamsicle colored unis with the Pirate on the helmet and the Eric Dickerson era Rams unis. [Edited 1/1/18 19:23pm] Don't laugh at my funk

FIRED COACHES
John Fox, Chicago Bears: The Bears parted ways with Fox after the team finished in the NFC North cellar for the third straight season under his guidance. Fox leaves Chicago with a 14-34 record over three seasons with the team. He's posted a 133-123 record over his career. Jim Caldwell, Detroit Lions: The Lions fired Caldwell a day after the team missed the playoffs for the second time in three seasons. The Lions finished the season at 9-7 for the second straight year. Following a promising 6-4 start, the Lions quickly lost ground in the highly competitive NFC playoff race, hitting rock bottom in a Week 16 loss to a struggling Bengals team that annihilated Detroit's postseason aspirations.
Chuck Pagano, Indianapolis Colts: The Colts fired Pagano immediately after a 4-12 campaign -- his worst mark in his six years as Indy's head coach. The firing came shortly after the team's 22-13 win over the Houston Texans. Pagano posted a 53-43 record in Indianapolis. After posting three consecutive 11-5 marks that culminated in an appearance in the 2014 season's AFC Championship Game, the Colts failed to make the playoffs three straight seasons. Ben McAdoo, New York Giants: The Giants fired McAdoo following a 2-10 start that saw the team briefly bench starting quarterback Eli Manning. McAdoo's firing comes less than two seasons into his tenure and just a year after helping guide Big Blue to a playoff berth in 2016. The 40-year-old finished with a 13-15 record as the Giants' coach. Jack Del Rio, Oakland Raiders: Del Rio told reporters after the game that Raiders owner Mark Davis relieved him of his duties following Oakland's 30-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. The firing completes a stark turnaround from a playoff season in 2016 that brought plenty of optimism into this campaign, in which Del Rio's Raiders failed to meet expectations. COACH RETIRING
Bruce Arians, Arizona Cardinals: Arians is set to retire from coaching in the wake of the Cardinals' 8-8 season, a source informed of the situation told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. Arians leaves the team with a 49-30-1 mark after a five-year run that included a pair of playoff appearances.

The Lions fire Jim Caldwell Okay yes because they have a history of being better than 9-7 and past coaches like Jim Shwartz, Marty Morhinweg, and Steve Mariucci have done a hell of a lot better. Dumb asses At least Caldwell gave them something to build on. A few more pieces like a rb and a few solid defenders Detroit would be on top of this division. Don't laugh at my funk

My point exactly. Caldwell made chicken salad out of chicken shit on offense. Outside of Golden Tate and Stafford no one else on this offense scares you. The defense while having a few solid defenders like Ziggy Ansah and Darius Slay they don't have any game changers on that side of the ball. I thought the Lions were right where they were expected to be. I had these guys at 8-8. Caldwell won't be unemployed long. He's a great offensive minded coach. It's the Lions front office that screws up on draft day at times. Don't laugh at my funk

Not surprised at all that Brady went over Belichick's head. He KNEW Bill was ruthless and would cut him loose, and he had as good of an idea as anyone about how good Garroppolo was. He could see the writing on the wall, and I bet he didn't want to end his career in another uniform, like Johnny U or Joe Montana. So he appealed to Kraft directly.
