You forgot Baltimore beat them twice in Foxboro during the postseason and missed a field goal that would have put them in the Super Bowl the year before they actually won it. They should have beaten them 3 times in Foxboro. Don't laugh at my funk

Well it was 9 or 10 yards away, no inches plus no time outs and very little time on the board. Honestly after hearing the debate of should the Steelers kick the field goal or not to go into OT. Well the worse scenario would be they went into OT then punk ass Gronk scores a TD and does his girly dance in the end zone. With that said, yeah I'm ok with them going for it. In the end this loss does not eliminate the Steelers from the playoffs. More than likely Steelers will be the 2nd seed. Pittsburgh in the past has been the number 1 seed and still did not make it to the Super Bowl. |

If that fool Plaxico didn't shoot himself, I have no doubt the Giants win SB XLIII against the Steelers. They were 12-4 the season after they beat NE and rolling.
I have no problem with Big Ben going for it....he just called the wrong play. It should have been a fade. A veteran QB like him should know better.
It's amazing the Patriots never panic in pressure situations. Duron Harmon said it best - “I really believe we are probably the most prepared team in the NFL, and it helps on game day.”
It's why the Pats play chess while the other teams play checkers.

I don't blame Ben or the Steelers for going for the win. Truth is Eli Rogers was clearly held on the final play. No call. I only blame Smith Schuster for standing around when he could have ran a route but there clearly was confusion with what to do with no timeouts so can't be to hard on the kid and he put them in position to win the game.
I'm not buying into all the hyperbole about the Patriots playing chess bullshit. They are obviously a good team but also benefit from The Patriots Rules. You see it a little too often. The Steelers clearly scored what should have been the game winning score.
Just imagine if Aquib Talib or Ndmakong Suh did the bullshit Gronkowski did. You think they would
have only gotten a one game suspension? The Patriots Rules. Don't laugh at my funk

Geez, the Texans are bad. And we don't have a first- or second-round draft pick this year, either. We get no reward for sucking so bad, LOL.
You have a potential franchise QB and your most lauded defensive player returning in 2018. The pieces are there and the AFC South will still be relatively weak if JAX doesn't get a QB.

He's been good. Judge him, though, by his entire body of work.
If JAX feels good enough to roll with him in '18, fine.

It's always been that way. It's a rep-based vote. Eventually, when (for example) Linval gets in, he'll have a chance of staying in for a stretch.

PAPA JOHN GETS THE BOOT FOR HIS COMMENTS RE: NFL PLAYERS KNEELING
http://www.chron.com/news...ipid=hpctp
NEW YORK (AP) — Papa John's founder John Schnatter will step down as CEO next month, about two months after he publicly criticized the NFL leadership over national anthem protests by football players — comments for which the company later apologized.
Earlier this year, Schnatter blamed slowing sales growth at Papa John's — an NFL sponsor and advertiser — on the outcry surrounding players kneeling during the national anthem. Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick had kneeled during the national anthem to protest what he said was police mistreatment of black men, and other players started kneeling as well.
"The controversy is polarizing the customer, polarizing the country," Schnatter said during a conference call about the company's earnings on Nov. 1.
Papa John's apologized two weeks later, after white supremacists praised Schnatter's comments. The Louisville, Kentucky-based company distanced itself from the group, saying that it did not want them to buy their pizza. |

So I guess pizza sales is more important than innocent people getting maimed or killed by poorly trained/ thug/ racist cops. What happened to "all lives matter"?
I blame his poor sales on his product. If you want REAL pizza, the last place you should go to is Papa John's. |
