Yaay! Never in doubt. wink

Loved that happy ending ; I thought we were done for sure. I've gotta give the team major props for not giving that up. Could this finally be our year? Winning like that almost makes it seem possible to me.

That last touchdown was certainly worth waiting up for. Pleased for Case Keenum, and thought his leading the skol chant was great fun. Nice to hear them giving Let's Go Crazy a celebratory blast at the end too. Go Vikings! smile

Steelers loss to Jags very disappointing.

The Defense was nonexistent and has been pretty much since injuires to key starters Haden and Shazier. Keith Butler needs his walking papers

ASAP. I was very disappointed in Tomlin's decision to go for an onside kick

with 2:18 on the clock and 2 timeouts left. What the hell was he thinking?

I felt the Saints had the best chance to challenge NE in the Super Bowl since Drew Brees was

the only starting qb remaining in the NFC. Don't know if I've ever seen a conference championship

game that's gonna be decided with 2 backup qb's. It's gonna be a long offseason in the Burgh.

i disagree with everyone bashing Tomlin for the onside kick...why would he willingly give Jacksonville the ball back, when the sorry Steelers D had given up 45 points already?...its not like he couldve trusted the defense to get the ball back at that point...he did what he had to do, and what any other coach would have done

No. You have to trust your defense. What fucking sense does it make to give the Jags a short

field to work with and kick a fg to put the game away? The Jags weren't gonna risk a turnover by

throwing the ball deep on their end of the field and there is always that chance a rb coughs up

the football. The Jags were gonna run 3 straight plays and you if you stop them you get the ball back

and the Steelers could score and go to OT. Damn right I will bash Tomlin for that call.

Exactly. Tomlin deserves heat and so does Haley for those 4th down playcalls.

If not for Marcus Williams suffering brainlock, Zimmer would be getting heat for giving Brees time to march down the field for the go-ahead FG. Run the fucking ball and force the Saints to take their last timeout.

Hell no. I would prefer Romeo Crenell. The guy I like would be Pat Shurmur. He did an great job with the Browne defense when he was the head coach before Jim Haslam came in from Pittsburgh and cleaned house and hired his own staff.
Correction: Pat Shurmur was the head coach but Dick Jauron was the DC then and had
the Browns D playing hard nosed football.

For the draft the 2 areas they need is to find a LB to replace Shazier and a QB. Read somewhere Ben said he still wants to play (glad because that would piss off 2freaky lol ) but still need to find a future replacement (Jones is not it). Looks like Todd Haley is open to head coaching once again so may need a new OC, maybe even a new DC. Looks like Giants are interested in Pat Shurmur.

Think Todd Haley won't be there next year.

Can't get cute against a fast defense like that. He tried that toss sweep/outlet pass to Bell at least a half dozen times and they ran it down every time. Too much speed.

Bell was bottled up, because between the playcalling, the strength of the Jags' D-Line and the speed of the Jags' back seven, and the early hole PIT dug itself, he could never get it going.

At the end of the day, Steeler Nation wants blood after this exit, and somebody is going to have to take the fall. It'll likely be Haley, and maybe even Butler.

Mularkey and Titans (reportedly) agree to part ways.

We'll find out if the problem is Mariota or the coaching.
