HELP CD PLAYER FROZE

My 6 disc CD player in my car is FROZE. My Prince CD's and George Michael CD's are STUCK. Anybody have any hints on how to get them out?

I can't eject them or load anything.

Is there a small hole next to the disc insertion slot? If so, maybe it's for sticking a wire into, which is a manual ejection system.

But Google it first. Google how to get stuck CDs out of the specific car stereo you have. Good luck!

Try disconnecting your car battery and then reconnect. It used to work me when ny sister's CD player froze in her Camry. Good luck

No, no hole next to the slot. I've tried everything Google has told me. I think I'm basically screwed. Thanks for trying to help though.

Oh God no!!! Please tell me, you burnt them to your Computer before hand. Two of my favourite artists there. Listening to Faith album as I write this.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

When I go to work this morning, I'm going to pound on the dash and maybe that will get it going. It was the dreadful Error 3 code.

There ought to be a way to remove the encasing... and trigger the system.

is it a cd deck cartidge like set up? (insert multiple into one deck, insert deck into player) or one that alternates like an old stand-alone disc changer?

this brings up funny memories...

When our band created some demos, we got them pressed from a duplicator company (the guy also did professional authoring) on Ventura Blvd in Studio CIty.

We sold a few at shows, and although the recordins weren't that great (a bandmate who was supposed to be handling the money for recording sessions spent it on his broad(s).... and we wound up getting recording time with an Engineer for Snoop DOgg...which wasn't the busness.... no invested $$ = no invested time)

EIther way... the point of the story. We had to settle for that. And about 4 copies that we sold wound up getting stuck in people's cd decks or CD CHANGERS...

I took to joking that we were ANTI PRIVACY INNOVATORS...

... ahead of the curve...

Once you inserted our disc into your player, it would never come out. Thus preventing many duplications.

lol lol lol innovators

I'm glad you got the things out. Depending on the model, it might be a cleaner sort of thing. Typically drive errors stem from wear on the trays though...that's pretty much not fixable.

Well here's what I have. I think I will try to get a CD cleaner or something before I try it again.

This one I found online for $179 but it's the sameone that is in my car.

Good story.

My kids were dying laughing at me last night because it was Prince and George Michael that was stuck. LOL Little did they know that Adele's CD was right behind them. LOL
