arent these basically the same "power" in 2 characters???

What is power?

kind of similar, but to me the empowered character John Coffey in green mile seems fundamentally different from Jeremy Reed as far as their different levels of intellect

and then theres The Dead Zone character...

Powder is one of the most awful movies ever. I don't love The Green Mile but of course is a much better film and i love wholehartedly the ending, quite moving.

I barely remember Powder, but they both have paranormal abilities, but those abilities manifest in different ways. They both could see the true nature of others. GM had healing abilities, I don't remember if P did. P's paranormal abilities were explained, GM was not everything about him remained a mystery.

Powder is sentimental and sweet. Not the best movie, but entertaining.

I thought "Powder" is much closer to "Phenomenon" than "the Green Mile."


I believe "Powder" was first. I do wonder if "Phenomenon" was Scientologyogy thing?

Couldn't get into Green Mile, the book or the movie.
