The thing about taste is that if u only drink soda and juice, water will be bland and boring. If u are addicted to garbage such as processed foods or rotting abused animal flesh, that your body can’t properly digest, u would likely rather consume a bunch of pills to compensate for your lack of digestion than to actually eat anything your body wants. When u choose to stop injesting toxins your taste and cravings will change. Your body runs well on certain nutrients, none of which come from consuming a corpse. Your personal taste is an illusion and if non toxic food tastes bad to you it is because your body is out of whack from injesting too many intentionally addictive toxins. That said, try eating organic fruits and veggies like a banana or an apple or peanut butter or almonds or brocolli or carrots.

I love the way human omnivores try to separate themselves from other animals in nature that were designed to eat both flora and fauna. LOL But, for a quicky meal nothing beats salad--whatever the heck you want to put on it, vegetarian or not. Love salads of all kinds (leafy greens).

I know for a fact being a vegetarian slows down the aging process.
see the following. worth a read.
9 Health Benefits of a Vegetarian Diet

A vegetarian diet is associated with a higher consumption of fiber, folic acid, vitamins C and E, magnesium, unsaturated fat, and countless phytochemicals. This often results in vegetarians having lower cholesterol, being thinner, having lower blood pressure, and reduced risk of heart disease

Make vegetable stew to include potato and eat it for a meal a day, quorn pieces included. It'll fill you up and can be what you want it to be.

quorn, my new word for the day.

I tried those meat substitutes, it's not the same so either I have to learn to deal without meat or just keep eating meat, replacing it isn't an option.

Vegetables have never been a problem for me, I like them, it's the recipes that I've come across, rarely do I find one that doesn't have a few of those items in abundance, and it's funny as heck to me.

Quorn--A type of protein-rich food made from an edible fungus and used as a meat substitute. ... 'These products are marketed under the brand-name Quorn, and consist of industrially produced, entirely meat-free foodstuffs made with mycoprotein from fungi and have the taste and flavour of a range of meat products.'

But there are people who do enjoy the taste but simply won't eat it because they don't want to eat animals. That's what I don't understand about it. Life is very short.

Particularly for the animals slaughtered for food.

If they didn't taste good, I wouldn't eat them. It's their own fault for being so delicious.

Vegetarian food:

Chocolate/crisps/fries/soda/donuts/cake/ice cream/bread/salted nuts/pizza..

This is an alternative diet!

Follow it and you too can gain 28 pounds in 2 years D-: yup, my job changed and I stoped following my normal vegetarian diet diet and went for convenience. Jokes aside, bear in mind that vegetarian does not always mean healthy. My healthy weight is 112-18 pounds and I’m sitting at 140.

I kid.
