Do you ever take long breaks from the internet? I recently spoke about this in the org chatroom but does anyone here ever take long breaks away from the internet? I once got into some drama a few years ago and I went 2 weeks straight without internet.It wasn't bad at all after day 3.Kinda felt like I was back in 1998 though | |

I am about to move and will be off the computer for a few weeks while I move and get new service set up. I am interested to see how I feel once I walk away. I did away with my television not long ago and am so thankful I did! I come on the Prince org and I need my Ebay (where I get all my incense and candles and things for a much better price) but I think beyond that, I could do without it. | |

Yes I do and it's a beautiful thing. Twice a year my husband and I go on vacation. We leave all phones, laptops, tablets - EVERYTHING at home. We absolutely love not communicating with anyone while we're on vacation. I always leave our contact info with my sister incase of an emergency, but otherwise, we are on vacation and not available for blah, blah, blah on the internet. | |

No, I don't take breaks from the phone, or the news or any other thing that's become a part of daily life, but the goofing off part of any of that, yeah I take a break from. | |

For most people not living in ...i can’t even imagine what where, the internet is like paved roads and running water. On the contrary I worry that one day it will go down and in this age, cause a catastrophic emergency. Everything depends on the internet more and more. As a society we really can’t go back. | |
