In a management position No you can't No No No No No !!! I know of two peeps who worked for the same company and they kept their romance secret only because romance in that office at the time was a big no no. After awhile they moved in together and then everyone knew when they threw a house warming. Not too long after they got married and still worked at the same company.

Work romance is OK for people/coworkers who are over age 30(mature mentally, emotionally). And the other coworkers do not have to know about it. And the couple have to be prepared in case they break up. If they will remain working in the same company, can they remain friends or does one or both individuals quit and get a job elsewhere, etc... However, a work romance between Employer/Employee Should Be Avoided, no matter the age/how mature a person is! Mixing Business with Pleasure between Employer/Employee will definitely result in a Negative Situation! Unless, the Employer or Employee Quits their Job and will not work in the Same Company. Then the two individuals can pursue a romance with eachother. Two of my friends/coworkers started dating a few years ago. They still are employed in the Same company, are married and have a baby now. |
