Should I drop out of school?

Hi, i'm 15 and i'm le and league d on esea. I've played csgo for about 14hrs every day for the last 6 months, and i'vr jyst realized that i can't play csgo hoping to become pro and going to school at the same time, so i thought, what if i drop out of school and i play cs for about 2 years straight, just to see if i can really become a pro and have that opportunity. Is it worth it? What if i fail, am i just gonna fuck up my life doing that? Am i crazy smile?

Oh hail no! Stay your behind in school. Period.

Seriously, you need more skills than playing any game to make a decent life. Life does not play fair.

Stay in school and learn grammar, spelling and punctuation - please.

Stay in school. You can't go back and finish high school the way you can with college. If your button-pushing skillz aren't mad enuff, you'll end up as a high school drop-out and that's not good.

No dropping out but you need to look at a career in gaming. I would take a few days and visit Fullsail or some other program and talk to people who are in the field. You likely can find a way to profit from what you love to do.

What are you outraged about today? CNN has not told you yet?

Hah! not to sound like a sour old bastard, but - this is what it's come to, now? Gaming is a "career"??? Back when I was a wee lad and so on, I used to play the games on my old computer for days, months, even YEARS, and still never got close to completing them! ....didn't a soul out there ever care to offer me MONEY for doing that....?!! ....and now, this is what the cool kids of today, the Millenials, are up to?? That's..... just Not Fair.
...and today's games Suck.

Yes! They have been trying to get me to Fullsail for years. I just lost interest in games. I know some people at AE Sports. That have these connectors/sensors that caputure football player and mascots movements and it goes into the computer. Reason why I say is go check it out is it maybe competivite but maybe not and possibly other ways to bank on gaming.

First line I read said colleges are recruiting for this, so dropping out of high school would not be a wise choice then.

"Since news of the scholarships broke last week, Melcher said, the school has received hundreds of inquiries from prospective e-athletes. University President Michael Viollt said the video game team could be a way to reach a population underserved by higher education — technologically minded young men who aren't into team sports, and who need an extra boost to get to college and stay there."

Nobody's beating the door down for a dropout.

I'm afraid I have to disagree with that last statement. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild on the Nintendo Switch is the best game ever made. Over 100 hours of pure magic! I'm also quite partial to the Mass Effect series and GTA V is really fun too.

Man go ahead and leave school and go on and get your paper.

Shit look at all these millionaire athletes that left school early to make that money.

You can always go back to school and get your GED.

Please stay in school. You are not able to make such an important decision so let us make it for you. Attending and graduating from high school is not asking too much. You can do this. You should do this. There will be plenty of time left to pursue other interests, or achieve goals. PLENTY of time. And if on the off chance those other pursuits don't work out you have your high school diploma to fall back on. I know we are just a bunch of old farts to you who don't know what's what. Humor us.

Are you really 15? Judging by that porn thread you tried to start in P&R the other day, I would say stay in school if they'll have you. And wash your own mouth out with soap.
