McGregor goes down in every round, and doesn't get up in the fourth round.

But I heard an interesting question yesterday: What if McGregor wins?

Does he ever go back to MMA? Or does he stick with only boxing? Interesting thing to think about.

I don't watch boxing or MMA but despite Mayweather being the favourite, I think McGregor will win with a lucky knockout punch.

I think McGregor will try to box similarly to like he does in MMA, hoping (or in his case rather "expecting") it to throw Mayweather off and land that one punch. I think he will land some, but I don't think it will be enough and then Mayweather will outscore him. I rather think this will go to a clear decision, but who knows. Boxing experts I guess will ridicule McGregor afterwards because he won't box in a traditional, technical way, but I think it's his only chance - look for that one moment. Anyway, PPV in the US is 100$, here in Germany an online sport streaming services shows the fight. Signed up for the test month for 0€. falloff All I have to do is get up way too early, but still... lol

I'm quite certain that he goes back to MMA, maybe not exclusively but he will for a couple of fights. Even if it pays less, he already has other business started that will bring in money. I think he still wants to prove a few things in MMA. Also, an interesting question is what will happen to his career (and to a degree the UFC too, as he is BY FAR the biggest draw for them currently) if he loses this one really badly and also the first fight back in MMA? When he lost to Nick Diaz in the first fight, he handled it very well, not hiding but still talking to the press. And then he went back and demanded to fight Diaz again at the same weight - that takes courage.

Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right?

Nah. If I was being biased I would say I wanted him to win because my brother used to train with him. Well, in the same club as him, anyway. But in truth, I don't like Conor McGregor and while I don't really care who wins, if I had to choose someone to lose, I'd choose him. BUT I think he will win despite my preference.

Floyd fought a different fight than hw usually does. As he said he would.

He didn't fight defensive. He let Conor get off the first few rounds. Then he took over.

It was a great fight.
What impressed me most was a 40yr old holding up better than a man in his 20’s

Props to Floyd as he had biology against him.

Great fight! It was way better than the Pacquiao fight from two years ago. McGregor did his best but Floyd prevailed! Congrats to him for going undefeated in 21 years. Not sure we will have another fighter do that for years and years to come.

Trolls be gone!

World champion boxer beats non boxer in boxing match. Who could have predicted that?

Well, it's not that simple.

McGregor is world reknown MMA fighter. It's not like Mayweather beat some ole joe off the street.

I know that MMA is tough. It's not a putdown. But I would not expect an undefeated boxer to be defeated by any non boxing athlete no matter how skilled they are in their own sport the same way I would not expect Mayweather to beat Serena Williams on the tennis court.

One thing I didn't like was Mayweather turning his back towards McGregor. You're not allowed to hit anything on the back, so you basically stall the fight turning around like that. He's the superior boxer anyway, so no need for that.

This entire Mayweather Vs McGregor crap was just another Blah, blah, Blah event...The only thing that changed after the fight is Mayweather's standing as the RICHEST Boxer EVER and McGregor's standing as the RICHEST Kickboxer EVER....

At 40, Floyd's retirement is gonna look 10x different than Ali's, but I just never felt the Love from Floyd...Personality/character-wise, the Bruh does have his own Brand of Swagger...I always felt he was 90% about the Mega payday...Over the years I got sick and tired of watching him & 50-Cent take videos of stacks of Cash on Floyd's bed...I know it's not that serious but why do you need to convince Fans that you're really Rich when we already know it?....I told a friend of mine I would have paid $100 bucks to watch a WWE-PPV before I'd spend anything on a Boxing event...Wrestlers are more Fan-Friendly and take pride in their Sport....

Floyd is still young in Boxing years, he has more living to do on a personal level and he can write his own Ticket in The World of Sport's Broadcasting...No one can deny his accomplishments..

Boxing vs MMA is like judo vs BJJ. Even a world champion kickboxer wouldn't stand a chance against Mayweather under boxing rules.

Shut up. Stop race baiting with this nonsense. You're diminishing the HARD WORK that Mayweather and other greats have done over the years. Do you think any old random black man can just become an undefeated boxer with a 21 year career? You're ridiculous.
