Agree with all except bolded.

I agreed with all but 3 of kpowers' picks, and was right on the Titans and Washington and wrong on the Packers (who still can't defend anybody). So 12 of 15 so far, piggybacking on kp. Not a bad week, kp.

Only the AFC North looks like they have more than one playoff-caliber team (BAL and PIT). The South and East are weak, so I think you're right.

Again, only a few I'll disagree on. The Titans love to take every other game off. I think the Cowboys will rebound, much as I hate to say it.

After the Panthers only managed 9 points against the Bills, I'll go out out on a limb with the Saints.

Seahawks seem a little sluggish so going with the home team on that game. People are knowing how to play the 2nd year stars of the Cowboys so going with the Cardinals.

Believe me the Saints defense aren't the Bills defense. Bills coach McDermott knew the Panthers personnel inside out. The Saints defense is so bad they would make Jacksoville's offense look like the Chiefs offense.

Sound reasoning. SEA will catch a break since the game starts around noon their time (3pm Central). The Titans' inconsistency is why I go 'Hawks.

Same with ARI. You never know what you're getting with the Cards from week to week, especially with David Johnson out.

Heard this today on WFAN from Mike Francesca;

"Only the Giants thought Ereck Flowers was a left tackle."

They have to move him - they can NOT put Flowers back at that position, or Eli's not going to last.

The Seahawks are having the same problems the Giants are having. Lack of protection from

a porous offensive line. It seems neither did much of anything to correct it during the offseason.

Russell Wilson continues to run for his life and the Giants running game is almost nonexistent.

The conventional wisdom is that those teams put so much money into their QBs and defenses they ran out of money to offer quality O-Linemen.

Which is why I laugh when I hear rumblings out of SEA that the defense grumbles about the offense. I'm like, "y'all are making all the money, Legion of Boom! Y'all all got paid! What do you expect?" lol

The Giants could have upgraded the o-line, but that fucking a-hole Reese gambled that this group would improve, especially Flowers. He didn't even build depth, and now they're paying the price. Imagine what Philly's defensive front will do on Sunday.

Upset day in the NFL. None worse than the Steelers losing to the Bears.
Fire Todd Haley now! I'm losing patience with Tomlin now too. With the weapons the Steelers have on offense all they had to show for it against the sorry Bears was 17 points. Please! Haley has no fucking clue how to run an offense. The defense had piss poor tackling today. Didn't think they would miss Watt and Tuitt that much today. If it weren't for the inept Bengals and the Texans choking late in the 4th quarter it would have been an apocalypse in the NFL today as far as upsets.

We both had some losses I'd attribute to travel sluggishness (Ravens (both), Seahawks (me), Broncos (both), Raiders (both)). The Pats, Pack and Eagles were both really close to falling too.

As a WAS fan, I was really surprised at how good they looked against OAK, which I'd give a mulligan.

Parity prevails this week.

Exactly. Everyone wants to talk about how disrespectful the players are to the National Anthem but #45 can say and do what he wants and his sheep are okay with it.

Well here's a News Flash: NFL players and folks alike aren't gonna let him come at them with that rinky dink bullshit and what you saw across NFL Stadiums was a straight Fuck U to him. Bottom line.

I actually do like ODB as a player but he does have some maturity issues but if what he did yesterday was a Fuck U to #45 I'm cool with it. I don't care for Travis Kelce's antics on the football field either but I applaud him for sticking up for all his band of brothers black, white, hispanic, somoan players accross the league and let #45 know his bullshit will not be tolerated in the NFL.

Absolutely right. No man should tolerate having his mother referred to as a dog. And I support the players' response to that.

But it's fascinating and saddening that on the very weekend this was happening, OBJ acted like, and call himself, a "dog" on the national stage.

With players all over the league this weekend conducting themselves with dignity (standing, kneeling and sitting), to see one of the NFL's brightest stars making a national scene all about him is disappointing.
