Babble, Rant and Rave #1

I use to have threads like this five years ago. The whole point was to let something out that most likely was not worthy of it's own thread. Some people posted funny gifs that really didn't fit anyplace but that they just loved. Sometimes we come onto this sight and try to work what we want to talk about into somebody elses thread, hijacking their thread. You can't hijack this thread because that is the nature of it!!!

There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.

I will start of with my babbling or is it ranting; not sure. I live in a rooming house. i am 55 the woman across from me is 50 and there is a 20 year old woman there. The woman that is 50 is a

tattoo artist and the 20 year old keeps getting random tattoos from her. "Tina" the Tattoo artist moved in sometime in February 2017 and "Julie" the young woman has gotten 7 new tattoos.

NONE OF MY BUSINESS

EXCEPT, these damn tattoos are so random. She had at least two on each arm and they have nothing to do with one another. They are well done but appear like random scrapbooking on her skin. Unfortunately I know someone who had a a tattoo much smaller then any "Julie" has, and removing it has been an expensive and lengthy process.

We are talking about cartoon characters, animals, phrases, all mixed together. I don't think Tina, who sports a ton of random tattoos herself, will ever tell her "NO".

Julie is a pretty young girl who spent some of her childhood in foster care but is close to her mother now. The face and neck don't have any (so far!) but the hands and arms do.

omg. i once had the same experience. over the course of a couple of years i watched Joanie turn herself fom a gorgeous, perfect skinned beauty into a tattooed circus freak. no one could stop her from trashing herself like that - this was back when tats were sooo cool. that girl was MAJOR gorgeous, model-worthy and she covered it up with ugly blotches of ink.... poor dear. twenty years later i wonder how she feels about her decision?????

These are not so cute men but harmoneous tattoos. They look like they are done together.

I could look at this in bed.

I can't handle a bunch of missmatched stuff that is scattered randomly all over the body.

Today it is cool where I live. I live in Worcester, Massachusetts. Last winter seemed quite warm and dry and this summer seems pretty cool for a summer with lots of rain. It seems as if the weather is evening out. It may just be one year wink .

there is a certain time of the morning on the expressway that I find the traffic always slowed to extremely and I never visually saw the reason.
Then one day last week I saw and found the reason.
There is an older lady who seems to be confused at which exit to take and she ends up pulling into the striped V space between exits. It is because men come to rescue her ie cops fireman roadside assistance... she seems to love to thank them with long hugs.

I leave for work much earlier now.

Looking at these men again I think that their tattoos may help hide man boobs and sag, and that weird body hair that older men get. It may be a good thing! I also can handle beards but these Santa Claus longs ones are too much for me, ugh.

I won't spend the money on desperately needed flooring for the basement but I see no problem with buying flowers, fencing, mulch, and more flowers for the front yard. Whatever happened to "ladies first"? Men seem so ungentlemanly these days. At night when it's hot outside I walk around naked in the back yard. smile

Gardens feed the soul; not sure if basements can do that.

The world has changed considerably and grown men in their 20's compete with small children and pregnant women for a seat on a train, often winning.

how come whenever someone in a movie/television is handling a firearm it sounds like they're swinging around a sock filled with hot wheels cars? guns are precision machines. i think the guns in hollywood could use some maintenance, as their parts are very poorly fitted.

Not really. I'm curious how that connects to a picture of a seal?
