What was the first DVD/Blu Ray you ever bought? Here's mine

Honestly don't remember.

First Blu-ray was Mad Men season one before I even got a Blu-ray player. I was getting one shortly and I wanted the first thing I watched on it to be my favorite TV show of all time.



I don't remember what my first DVD was. That was way too long ago.

my first dvd was 'warriors of the wasteland,' fished out of a walmart discount bin. i'd watched it about a billion times back in the 80s in the vhs days.

my first blu-rays were 2001 & run lola run, so maybe i redeemed myself a little bit there.

I bought a DVD player just for this movie back in 2000. And I believe this is the only version that has the original theatrical 'green filter' version of the movie that I continue to watch.
All other releases on Bluray and DVD collections have the color corrected, more vibrant version.

I didn't get my first dvd player until Christmas 2003. It was a lovely grey Toshiba dvd/vcr combo. This is the first media I bought for it:

my first dvd was 'shadow of the vampire'.




my first blu ray was the stanley kubrick 'visionary filmmaker collection.
