if we're talking music, then i agree. if politics, then i regard Snowden and Manning as true patriots. the government is not independent of the laws that govern the land, and it is accountable to the civilian population. if we're talking about bad plumbing then hell yeah i hear that

Sure, and I bless them for outtakes and concerts. But I agree with the OP with respect to official albums. I always HATED it when they got their hands on an album a few days before its release. Number one, that definitely took sales and money out of Prince's pocket. There were undoubtedly people (the leakers at a minimum) who stole the album off the web and didn't buy it.

Number two, why spoil a great surprise? I never listened to a leaked album and it's on me for reading reviews, but honestly - a review of something you've never heard is useless. "This song will remind you of 'When You Love Somebody.!" No, it won't. Ugh.

Those who leak nudes from famous people (especially if they are men) are true heros.

If something's leaked by the artist, it's legit cause it's their own product and all artists are doing self-marketing in one way or another. If it's leaked by someone else to make money off the artists hard work, I fully agree with you, that guy is an asshole.
