Happy 40th Birthday Star Wars!

Wow! 40 years! I remember hearing about this great space movie! I Saw the Posters and then the trailers! My dad said something like "Star Wars... that's a real winner...."


Alas, it would be a year before I was able to see it! We were moving to Key West so I had actual kid stuff to do!


But wow! Between Star Wars and Prince, Prince always wins but Star Wars was also a huge part of my life.

I love it too, even the infamous Star War Holiday Special that George Lucas tried to erase lol biggrin Carrie Fisher had a great singing voice nod

Star Wars doesn't make one mention of Jesus - but there are the usual apologists that talk about "Jedi Jesus" themes. Little do they know that an ex-cathylick named Joseph Campbell was responsible for "The Force" myths that were meant to undermine Jesus.
