Looks good. I wonder if the Winter Soldier will be in it. Last time we saw him he was being put on ice in Wakanda.

It's more of a World of Wakanda showcase than Black Panther. Compared to other first look superhero trailers, the main character isn't in it as much. I'm not complaining though. All those beautiful people of color in a big budget superhero movie--that's something never seen before. love

Hey don't put DC down. I like black super heroes who are not based on a previous white characters (such as Superman, Green Lantern, Firestorm) Not sure but I hope they make a Cyborg movie. The CW is making Black Lighting tv show. Hated the Catwoman movie with Halle Berry, she should have played Vixen. Would like to see a Vixen movie or even Rocket & Icon movie or TV show

Always liked the idea of Icon (or Xombi)TV show on the SyFy TNT or FX channel. It would be cool seeing Icon and Rocket in present day plus flashbacks of Icon as a slave, his adopted family, civil war his early encounter with the original Shadow Cabinet, his life with his wife prior to her death etc.

Well isn't Black Panther the first time Marvel is doing a Black Hero in a starring role???????????? Not sure about Spawn, it's Image comics and not sure if that is a independent label or not. Long live DC batman

I guess Luke Cage came first as starring in his own Netflick series.

As far as a Black Superheto on film or TV Id have to go back to the M.A.N.T.I.S. TV show being the first.

Spawn may be the first in a big budget movie. Truly one of the worst comic book movies Ive ever seen. While the HBO animated series imo is a straight 10. One of the best depictions of a comic book ever.story, tone, animation. Voice actors etc.

It's a great move. To introduce the whole new active dimension to the TV/film universe in all its glory. Ultron employed a passive majority-black setpiece that was torn to pieces by the Hulk. We only got a brief glimpse of Wakanda in Ultron and Civil War s well.

Wakanda's people have things to do and something to say in this MCU. That's going to be hard for DCEU to match on film.

Come on, be fair!

Remember in the original movie the pimp complimented Superman: "say Jim! That's a bad out-fit!!! Woo!"

Well, in Man of Steel one of the Five Heartbeats sent the U.S. Military after him.

We're moving on up in DC!

lol

It's not just heroes - Marvel had interesting non-white supporting characters in their books too - Jim Wilson (Hulk), Joe Robertson (Spider-man), Misty Knight (Power-Man & Iron Fist), etc.
