The 2017 NFL Draft Thread

Time to go shopping again!

Giants needs are tight end & left tackle. We pick 23rd, so O.J. Howard will be long gone. Maybe the TE from Miami, David Njoku, will be available.

I like the Steelers to pick safety/CB. Also a QB. I know Ben wants WR's but Steelers are good in the postion.

I was not expecting this at all. But the Chicago Bears traded up to draft Mitch Trubisky. eek omg omfg shocked Having said that, I don't really know what to expect, since he only played one full season of quarterback in college. At best this looks like a Ryan Tannehill-type pick, which means the Bears probabaly paid too much to get him.

Watt is an interesting pick for the Steelers. He has a high motor like
his brother. Have to see if his game can translate to the NFL.
If I say we ought to it never falls in place

I would not draft a qb out of this class no earlier than the 4th or 5th round.
All the good qb's are coming out next season.

The looks on the faces of Bears fans was priceless. lol

None of these QBs are what you would call franchise - WTF are the Bears thinking?

Giants got their TE, but not the one we wanted. I would have preferred Njoku.

How' bout those Texans!

No one in Houston saw them moving up to 12 and getting Deshaun Watson. The whole town is ecstatic!

You now have Eli Manning throwing to Evan Engram. That's Ole Miss Rebel to Ole Miss Rebel. I predict several more Super Bowls for the Giants!

But seriously - you are going to LOVE Engram. Many prognasticators on the radio yesterday (Rick Neuheisal, etc.) thought he was the best TE in the draft. Fantastic person and great athlete. You'll love that pick!

I could have only dreamed Washington would have a chance to draft Johnathan Allen at 17. Dreams sometimes come true.

Thanks Deshaun Watson, for making the Tide defense look so bad that their best players dropped.

They could have stayed put and gotten him.
whofarted
I liken this move to the Bills drafting EJ Manuel in the first round 3 or 4 years
ago. The Bills could have gotten him in the 2nd or 3rd. The Bears front office WTF
were they thinking. They didn't have to give up anything and still got him with the 3rd pick.

They're either getting an impact player or Blake Bortles. Bears fans are married to this guy and Glennon for the next 3-4 years. Good luck.

ESPN's mock draft Round 2 has Steeler's picking QB DeShone Kizer, I know they usually get it wrong. Round 3 they are predicting WR ArDarius Stewart mad no no no! pissed DON'T NEED WR'S!!!!!!!!!! Secondary is where they should look.

I didn't get to see Sammie Coates response to Martavius Bryant but
Bryant needs to shut the hell up and focus on meeting the conditions of his
reinstatement. JuJu probably was drafted as an insurance policy if Coates can't
come back from surgery on his hand and if Bryant slips again and JuJu is said
to be an excellent blocker. We need to get a safety. I'm tired of seeing Mike
Mitchell slow ass out of position on passing plays.

He said "Hahahahaha" Then Tomlin responded "Play nice" to Bryant & Coates. I knew that was a bad pick.

How do you like the Joshua Dobbs pick? I projected it right either 4th or 5th round. None of

these qb's in this class knock your socks off but a few could potentially be decent.

I'm OK with it . With Ben usually getting hurt and sitting out a few games a season Steelers needs to address on getting Ben a good back up for now. Steelers has not had a reliable back up QB since Charlie Batch's first few seasons with the Steelers. Tired of "hey we will stick with Laundry Jones, he knows the system". I want the rest of the draft to focus on defense.

I would have preferred taking Nathan Petermen over Dobbs. Petermen is probably the best pure pocket passer coming out the draft right now but we'll see with Dobbs. I'm glad I missed the long snapper shit. I would have thrown a glass at my tv.

When I saw the Steelers drafted a LS I was like "What's an LS" had to google that. Wow a long snapper and no safety confuse
