work is dumb
So a coworker needed to contact someone from another office for an emergency meeting! I was asked because I was having an unrelated meeting that next day. But no one else could come so it never happened. So today, I get called in and asked when did I set the meeting for and who was coming. I said, "I did not set it up, that was a one-time special request and no one even followed up with me..."
But she (my boss) is insisting that she told me and that I agreed to set it all up! And is not lying to her boss that I dropped the ball.
