David Letterman's mother died

Sad, she was always a really sweet lady. David treated her bad.

I heard he forced her to work on his show. I dunno, there's Late Night staff who insist he's a miserable person with which to work. Might be true, television personalities are often quite different off the air.

hmm, don't know any of the details of that, johnny carson was a superprick too. I've read/heard dick clark was an asshole but I've also heard some real positive things too. And i always love listening to his perspectives on the music business because he has this strange detachement from it yet he has respect and insight to a music that he never really had a lot in common with.

Carson and Letterman have been known a-holes from time to time. Dick Clark as a whole was known for being a good guy all around. However, Dick Clark was a boss and had to hold people accountable.

I liked her on the show. David Letterman was funny in the 80's/90's but by 2001 he became a big asshole. Stopped watching him.
