This gif has been popping up a lot lately, and I figured it had to be a shop job. I mean I thought I could tell from the pixels, and because I’ve seen a few shops in my day. But nope. Here is the original. (skip to 0:40 and/or 1:50)

Her name is Lindsay Stanton, and as to a real life medical cause I was only able to find a single reddit post indicating that she suffers from “Graves’ ophthalmopathy” an “autoimmune inflammatory disorder affecting the orbit around the eye” which could certainly cause the unusual appearance. Then again “Source: Reddit” doesn’t always inspire confidence with regards to accuracy of information."
